this recent feni recipie i.e. making of feni drink shown in video is recent thing. past may be few years.. In earlier times there wasnt this addition of nimbu, mirchi salt n all here in goa. im talking about 90s and early 2000 this hurrak or feni. ppl used to drink neat or els just by adding soda. also the same i.e feni is given to children in small portion i.e. one spoon as medicine for stomach ache. ❤
What a legend this man is. As a Goan my respect for him has just gone up a notch after watching this. @Curlytales could you add English subtitles to this please!? I wish to share it with Mr. Tripathi's international fan base, gathered as a result of Mirzapur etc! And what's sad is instead of acknowledging that this man knows and appreciates more about Goa than some Goans themselves - those same Goans are here criticising/commenting on the semantics of "Old Goa". Thats the problem with us, instead of being grateful that for once theres a personality of prominence actually shedding light on our culture in abundance, we'll sit here and and dissect the ONE wrong thing someone said - and you see this behaviour on every single video about Goa, even if its for our benefit!
