Everyone's praising the riffs and vocals, and rightly so. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here wishing there was a way to inject Jacob Wagner's drumming directly into my veins. While the drums just seem to flow with the song's structure at surface level, it's the lively little accents on the copper that really speak to me. Would have been great to have those a tad higher in the mix, as they get drowned out by the wall of sound unless one's listening on studio monitors or decent headphones. Those tasteful triple strokes alone just ooze class, and I honestly can't get enough of them. I grew up listening to Flo Mounier and Thomas Haake. I listen to Lille Gruber on my way to work. Obviously, Apogean's current style, as enjoyable as it is, doesn't really leave room for that level of technicality, but if you're reading this, mate, I revere your creativity just as much as that of those household names behind the kit. March 8 can't come soon enough. Cheers!

This music video is as deserving as this masterpiece of a track. Mac’s vocals never disappoint, and they’ve evolved so much since Krosis. I give it a 9/10 , and only because the monks play guitar in the music video and it kinda took me out of it for a sec 😂
