That’s strange. I don’t really understand. It is laying and incubating at the same time?
Yes they were four hen with one male so as one of the hen started laying I separated it from others then after few days it starts incubating but drops an egg every two days
That’s strange. Sorry for the late reply. I would recommend you take out the new eggs it keeps laying and give them to a chicken or a different turkey to incubate those eggs separately

Can plantains leave delay a Turkey from laying
My Turkeys are almost 9 months but they don’t show any signs of laying
I give my turkeys a lot of plantains leaves and yet they sometimes start to lay as early as 7 months. I can’t tell the specific cause of the delayed egg laying. Here’s a few that may be the cause;
>Poor feed
>Environmental stresses
>Poor growth due to a disease
It is also perfectly natural that the egg laying is delayed. Give them time and provide them with enough high protein feed, broiler starter would be excellent. That will help build their body and quicken the laying process.

Why can't the turkey sit on their eggs
Ooh they can. It will just take longer for them to lay again if they sit on the eggs and I don’t want that to happen so o prefer to use a chicken to hatch my eggs
@@HOBsRanch oh really that's good to know. Please help me my hen and my turkey are laying eggs now. If I remove the hen eggs and put that of the turkey for my local hen to hatch it for me. How do I make her to hatch her own eggs. Coz last time my turkey lay 18 eggs and after which I end up eating them coz they didn't sit on it. And is white local turkey.
