Why they chose not to select these stages for Generations, I'll never know. With this type of remix and a graphics change, they would have been the best stage(s) in the game.
Well, Mystic Mansion, Ice Cap and Lava Shelter are the levels I really wish were in Sonic Generations...they would definitely be great in Generations.

Yeah I agree. We really didn't need Seaside Hill and Green Hill in the same game. As nostalgic as it was I much rather have Rail Canyon/Bullet Station OR Hang Castle/Mystic Mansion
Never thought I'd hear an ocremix for a Sonic Heroes song. Hope there's more of them to come.
Sonic Heroes was my favorite of the 3D sonic games. You actually got the feel of a true Sonic game.
This is the best I've EVER heard.
3rd favorite Sonic game. Second is either Black Knight or SA2 and the first is PS3 Unleashed.

Although I love the menu theme for this game, these two songs were hands-down my favorites.
Hang Castle would have been epic in Generations. Classic could be inside and Modern outside. The scene where you run up the tower would make a perfect quick step section.
Yeah man, I'm bored of Chemical Plant, Seaside hill, Casino stages and green hill
Not to mention hang castle is my favourite stage in Sonic lol

My thought process:
Zero seconds in: "Oh, hell yes, another song by the Wingless!"
Thirty seconds in: "...Wait. I misread that. This is some other guy."
One minute in: "Hey, it's pretty good!"
i couldn't tell which one was playing first until 1:51, then it was clear that it was mystic mansion. awesome haunted remix
Sonic Heroes is underacted in my opinion. Even if it was glitchy. Great song BTW.

Nice. Though I would have preferred a egg fleet or final fortress mix. Those were my favorite stages in this game. I took over twenty minutes blowing up robots and still got the A rank.

the chaos emerald challenges pissed me off so much in this game, theyre the reason I never finished
This is pretty kick ass work I must say. I think this song deserves a PRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMOTION!
It's great but the best, the best is yet to come and is never gonna stay here for long because if you are anything like the blue blur you never look back

@krishollow Camera issues are probably the biggest thing that withdraw me from most 3D Sonic games, though even good cameras couldn't fix Shadow the Hedgehog...

@Bleepblue yeah, but once you get the hang of it and get all the emeralds youll be at the final boss metal overlord ... heck look at me! just from 1 simple tip i got the emeralds on my first shot!

@shadowvic56 I actually thought the stages had plenty of imagination, at least when compared to Sonic '06. Every stage in there was essentially a next-gen rehash of other stages, with more bugs and bad camera angles than before.

@AreoTheHedgehog Actually, the final act where all the teams fight the final boss is in all of the versions. I know, I had the Gamecube version and played that part.

Ha, I never realized how cool the music was in this game.
I actually really enjoyed this game. Only real issue I had with it was Team Chaotix. Great team, but I suck at anything involving stealth.

@Fallendevilmon i know both of them have the same final boss, its just that it probably is in a different format. there are many many examples of that: sonic generations and other types. or atleast i think a different format was used...
I can't help but wonder, what exactly IS a Butoh? And how many wings does it have compared to its wingless cousins?

@Thifer20 Four teams with essentially all of the same skillset. Don't get me wrong, I personally think this game is amazing and the camera angles weren't so bad.
But my god.
The four teams lacked so much variety it wasn't even funny.
@darknessoolala actually all teams jion into 1 act for the final:
Team rose, dark, chaotix stall him so team sonic can go super and finish it
@cookiimoose take my advice, use the flying character with all power ups. I defeated him under a minute with almost every team :)
I remember beating this game with team rose...and im on the final battle with team sonic i think....
OH LORD THIS STAGE. Music was awesome though.

Heroes was a good idea, and some of the stages were good, but i think people had a problem with the plot, the voice acting, and some of the levels gota little bullshitty

@AreoTheHedgehog no they dont! in the begining u pick 1 of the 4 teams,, and u play as them...and on the last level u just play as the team you picked and beat the guy with only that team...
always kinda like the songs from this game..although it was annoying as hell to play through..particularly the special zone...

I definitely hear Sonic Heroes, Kingdom Hearts, FFVII, but the other two I swear I've probably played, but I can't put my finger on it
The game was real good i think myself just lame camera angles and cheep development the only thing i really could stand is that all teams had the same lvls in the same order

I love the Sonic franchise, but god did I hate this game.
