    Very informative because I was fired from my job November 2018. I had my barrister in court , after the case was finished the judge told us that we will get the judgement in 6 weeks. It is now exactly 5 months and nothing happened. We write to the court but was told they are still typing up the judgement. It is so frustrating and stressful because I just need to put a period to it and move on with my life because this is taking far too long.
    Taking a case to the tribunal is not just a walk in the park because it is extremely stressful but I was determined to go the long way because injustice is always a threat to justice and I cannot just fold my arms and been oppressed by an oppressor.

      @@batmansuperman290 After a 2 years battle Finally get justice only 2 weeks ago. I was offer a settlement which I refused. I decided that I would like for the judge to determined what compensation I should have. It was definitely a real hit and miss but I was too determined, in the end it paid off because the court offer me 3 grand more than what the company was offering. Justice has finally prevailed.

    Thankyou for the video. I found it very useful. I would like to know if an individual was dismissed then re-instated after an appeal, would there be an opportunity to claim for compensation for the experience caused despite receiving lost salary which is back paid?

    • @terrygorry
      @terrygorry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not in Ireland. No compensation for hurt feelings in unfair dismissal cases.

    Is fair that hearing to be based on same statement like in investigation eve if employee rise important facts that could lead to prove is not guilty ? In case of suspension how someone can prepare his defence if is not allowed on site or he don’t have access to documents on company hard drive ( rota, handbook ,emails,company policies , management rules, interview the witnesses) .
    Thank you.

      Hello there. Sorry for your delema. In my opinion, employment is vital for survival, however, no employment is worth the dignity and mental health of any person. Just grief your loss and move on. I can confidently assure you, you will be fine. The power to move on and accept things will give you a better source of control. Why work for an employer who will not give you a fair chance? You as an employee are a valuable asset. If you ever feel suicidal again, remember, its just a phase and you will eventually feel better and be in a better place. God bless.

      I agree with you Marvin but I’ve contemplated suicide twice because of all this. I have seriously struggled and I’m in fear that if I lose my job then financially it will ruin me and so near to Christmas as well, it’s just so unfair that 2 supposed colleagues would want to ruin my life because of a vendetta.

    Hi
    My employer is refusing to pay my final wages. I quit my job due to the company being bullies and unprofessional. They sent me a payslip with tax and NI deductions and net pay but I’ve not received the money. I’ve contacted them which acknowledged they must of overlooked it but still no money 1 month later. ACAS are involved but I can’t find any info on this type of case. What chances do I have of getting my money?
