The 14th edition of Tata Literature Live! The Mumbai LitFest is here. The Festival will start with its online edition on 25th & 26th October and will take place on ground from 27th to 29th October at the NCPA (Nariman Point), St Pauls Institute of Communication Education and Title Waves bookstore (Bandra).
Tata Literature Live! 2022: Noir, which deals with the more salacious aspects of crime, has seen an upswing in the last couple of decades. Its popularity is not limited just to the page; the genre has a strong presence in cinema and television as well. But what makes noir writing different from regular crime fiction and police procedurals? In collaboration with Noir In Mumbai we explore how Indian and French noir writers create this unique gritty atmosphere in their books.
