I played this game a lot when I was like 7-10 years old, I’m 21 now and still think about this game a lot. It was the first mmo I ever played and I still think it was the best one of its era.
ive started in 2008-2009 and still play it to this day. im 30 now. we play private servers since years. they are free to play and u farm maybe a month max to get maxed. its still the best pvp game ever created.

We need either a new engine or LilProHacker back. There’s basically no devs for this game anymore. LilProHacker was the last dude that really knew how to work this games code, but he moved on in life and handed his server off to Blitz and Bowtox a long time ago.
We need this i just hope we keep the old combat effects cause i hate how they make them move and run on retail just love the old mechanics better with these updates shaiya will be gold🤘💯
im not sure about this chineso serve, but atm in shaiya we have Druid and Monkey class (panda).. you can search for shaiya eg and check xD have pets, mounts , maps and panda class
If this game will get that remastered and fixed all the bugs the original game still has, then i'll return for sure, otherwise this game is still dead for many players since the devs ruined it.
This looks dated by 5 years and using unreal engine asset placeholders. I actually prefer the "old" engine for its cozey intimate style. The new one looks soulless.
