What were the name of the tips you recommended with the Fei Wan? I'm returning my UM Multiverse Mentor for the Fei Wan. I wonder how it's resolution compares to the Noble Viking Ragnar IEMs? Thanks
How do you like that Sony DMP-Z1? It must be glorious with all of your IEMs. I am a huge sony dap fan...had WM1z, now WM1ZM2 couple with Oriollus Traillii & UM Fabled Sounds (on road, working), TA-ZH1ES with MDR-Z1R (home). When are you going to grace us with DMP-Z1 review? Keep up the great work.
Thanks for thr review! I hope to to try this out in next socal canjam! I also msgd your friend on the iem cases via IG, so hope to get a reaponse soon!
Hey friend! Would you say the Orpheus takes a good deal of harshness off? I'm not super sensitive to it but would be going custom so I'd have no ability to tiproll. I found the following IEMs to not sound harsh to me: A12t, A18t, Phonix, VE8, Mentor, NE4, KR5 (all paired with Hugo2). I rather dislike Jewel + Orpheus, upper mids too rolled off. Thank you for the amazing reviews.
If the Jewel tuning was not my preferred, would the Fei Wan be a skip??. I still have my Aroma Witch 12 and thought Jewel would be a great next one, but never settled in the right way.
For jazz, electronic, hip hop, and r&b, what would you choose or recommend between fei wan, Odin, jewel, or trailli? I’m looking for bass presence without compromising vocals…I’m also using a Sony Wm1zm2
I have the xenon 6, which has an amazing bass profile, but the vocals took several seats in the back…I wanted a better vocal profile with a full bass and mid profile…

The Orphy is a good pairing but might become a tad too midbassy

I wouldn’t say its an automatic choice if the Jewel wasn’t your cup of tea. I needed to tip roll a lot to dial in the sound to my liking
So the Feiwan's stock cable is more expensive than the Jewel's stock cable?
I usually don't get that hung up about the looks but that thing is really gaudy.
Yeah I can see that. But there are people who increasingly go for such loud and contrasty combos especially if they are as shocking as this one is.
Great TH-cam review
Glad you think so!

I would recommend something bassier than all of those. RN6?

@@datboylu7985grand maestro is the best for hip hop massive bass without sacrificing vocals
The Fei Wan looks very cheap & tacky
