Lee, you mentioned a couple of time you couldn't see the internal resistance, but I just tried on mine, and when you are charging, if you click down on the wheel you see the internal resistance. It's a bit of a pain that it's only when charging/discharging, but you can see it nonetheless
I always use sacrificial extension balance and charge leads left in my chargers so that I cant damage the charger by constantly plugging and uplugging lipos. I know it adds a bit of extra resistance but that is cheaper to live with than a damaged port.
@06:43 Looks like you'll then be buying the *ISDT K2 AC200W / DC500W Dual Charger,* huh? A question regarding the *Discharge Current* though... It is mentioned of being capped at 1A whereas the Charge Current can go up to 10A... My understanding with the Charge Current being capped at 10A would mean a 6S could roughly be charged at 1.6A per *Cell* ( 6x 1.6A = 9.6A ) which is all fined and dandy but let's say I charged my battery up for a run and forgot to check the weather and it's raining for the entire week making it necessary to discharge the battery to storage levels... At 1A for the entire 6S *Pack* we'd be looking at a paltry 0.17A per Cell? Or is the manual inconsistent with how it writes down it's specs and those 1A referring to a per *Cell* basis?
That's not how it works. Current flows through all cells as they are connected in series. Balance charge uses the balance tap right at the end to get them all perfect. See my video on connecting stuff in series..
Looks good lee.i need a decent one to try rebalance a few lipos.few lipos we have have lower cells than each other.any ideas best way to bring em back level.unsure wat happens.maybe one of our chargers is faulty.stay safe buddy.
Good review Lee. However, I think ISDT have missed a great opportunity here, as it only has one charging port it could have a builtin parallel charging board. I know it would be easy to connect one, but having one builtin would be a great idea, and as far as I know a first.
Got the same, as far as I know I have a resistance option while charging, by pressing up arrow on dial. Leads are far a part true, and the highlight to me is DC power out for charging stuff like TS100.
its hard work getting your order from banggood at the minute to the uk ,they have had to reship my order 3 times this month because they just keep getting turned around and sent back to them ,,,hopefully ill have a charger before the new year lmao
The position of the xt60 and the balance port are really annoying. Anyway i got the one with internal resistance measurement ready. Just press down arrow during charge.
Sorry for my ignorance... would someone be so kind to explain if this charger would be good enough for charging this battery: GNB 1350MAH 6S 100C LIPO XT60 ? I can't seem to figure out how this amps/volts/watts work, and I'm slowly realizing some people are simply idiots since the birth... and unfortunately, I am one of them :(
Anyone ever tried to power it on 10s DC (36-42V) pedelec battery ? If it was possible I´d buy 2 ISDT chargers as I already have a BIG pedelec battery :)

Thanks for the tip. Added to the description!

@0:22 he literally said and showed he already has the D2...
@@TheEchelon My condolences to you for reading _K2_ and understanding a _D2_ 😏

Pretty nice looking charger, Lee! 😊
Great review!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

I have 608ac and the internal resistance screen doesn't pop up until lipo is balance charging with both xt60 & balance plug being plugged in.

Howdy Lee :)
Doesn't the charger show internal resistance while charging? That's the only way my ISDT chargers show it..
See note in the description. Happy flying!
@@Painless360 10 4 sir :)
Nice charger. 1000x better than my ez peak

th-cam.com/video/XuTHapf8cpM/w-d-xo.html should help. Best of luck!
