I’ve followed your channel for about the last year and I’ve really enjoyed your content. I live in Toronto (born and raised) and am of Italian descent. You are right. Toronto does have the largest population of Italians (people of Italian descent) outside of Italy. It’s a nice city, lots of diversity, clean, safe, with a high standard of living, but it’s not Italy. It doesn’t have the culture and beauty of Italy, but no country does. Italy is a truly special place - the people, food, climate, art, history, landscapes, lifestyle. You can’t beat it. I’ve visited many times and long to go back. I’d also love to live there one day. Anyway, I can show you all the best Italian joints if you do end up Toronto. All the best to you guys. 🇮🇹 🇨🇦
Milan, stay in Italy...art, architecture, museums, magnificent churches, culture, food, the people, pistachio cornetto's and pistachio gelato, which I am addicted to. Toronto is freezing cold.🇮🇹
hi Katie, Italy has many beautiful cities to choose to live in. Turin, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome ... We have many defects but we remain the most beautiful country in the world. Landscapes, art, culture and food. A big kiss to Kiro ❤️ and a hug to you 💖

I love your Italy videos so much I would be terribly sad to see you leave. I live in Canada and I am of Italian heritage and though we could definitely use more people with your upbeat personality and obvious kindness the selfish person in me wants you to continue the Italian journey. Whichever destination you and Connor choose I will stick with you but god I enjoyed Italian through your eyes.
Wishing you all the best with your move! And if it’s Milan, although most of us do speak English, you’ll find that not to be the case in supermarkets, markets and so on (btw you can easily form the same bonds with market sellers here!). You can definitely keep speaking Italian, especially if you don’t live in the city centre - at the same time we even have American supermarkets so you can always feel at home, whatever home may be on that particular day. Good luck!
If you want to keep on speaking Italian, then staying in Italy 🇮🇹 is the right thing to do, whether it's Milan or other cities. You will miss beautiful Trani and the warmth of a southern Italian town, but you will not miss any chance to make tours in our magic country.
Clearly, you have chosen Toronto, but Milan could have been the choice of the life. However, how is possible that you would not miss the historical monuments of Italy? I live in France and the part that I miss the most it's absolutely the historical parts of my country, literally everywhere
So sad you're leaving Puglia! I transplanted here 8 months ago and I loved watching your channel because you understand living in this amazing region! But I love the rest of the videos too but I'm secretly hoping that you stay in Italy and move to Milano!

I suggest Rome, I lived in Milan, it's very different than Trani... Wet weather, noise and traffic. Between Milan and London I suggest London, much better than Milan.
Althought I live in China, I am italian and very proud of it. I am originally from Lake Maggiore, not very far from Milan. Trust me, Milano is the best choice and it is very close to Many other countries all around Italy. Cheers
Mi dispiace che non ci siamo conosciute. Ti ho conosciuto su TH-cam ma avrei voluto conoscerti dal vivo, vivo a Bari quindi non troppo lontano! Buuut many wishes for your future! I think you've moved to Toronto, the interiors of the room and the sentence "torneremo" with that emphasis gave me that vibe.. cuz if u were just one and half hour away by flight u wouldn't be so sad!
Hi Katie I think you're going to Toronto and I'll be sad to see you leave italy! I have a question I don't know if I missed it from previous videos but how did you learn to speak so beautifully what type of classes did you take? Can you share?
My Wife and I will be visiting Bari Italy this coming July. Do you have any hotel recommendations by the sea. Also I want to visit my grandparents village in Corato which is the Bari province . Enjoy your videos so much and have learned a lot from them. Grazie tanto. Paul & Nicolina from Rochester NY. Just across from Toronto on Lake Ontario!
Hey Katie, before you really leave Italy, please show us a video of you and connor eating at your favorite restaurant one last time. I'm sure everyone in Italy are gonna miss you.
Rome is full of "gelaterie" and Giolitti is a big one which is quite good but not the best anymore (used to be decades ago)....so , at the end, which one was your final choice?
Milano or London! Where’s the pup? It seems like you might have left him with a pet sitter on the other side of the Atlantic so he didn’t have to do the back and forth on the long flight. Either way, I wish you all the best! It’s always exciting to start a new adventure!
Can you move your pup with you to London or Toronto? Also, I loved the brief time I spent In Toronto, but the traffic was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Like even worse than Chicago!
Very smart remark... That could be decisive... But I checked and you only need a pet passport and it should be feasable... ...God, do I have too muche spare time? 🤣😃🤣😃
If you want to do another step of your career as chef you gotta move to Milan. Cause we're still in Italy , there are the best high level restaurants, it's a cosmopolitan city so you can meet many people of foreign countries expecially american people, it's the capital of fashion , style and creation and could give you many opportunities. You will not miss America and you could continue to breath italian air. If you want to complete your experience as a chef i really suggest to move to Milan. All the best chef have to make great experience outside the hometown before move to Milan and open own restaurant or activities.
im from south america and been living in toronto for most of 50 years and yes the gta or greater toronto area has a large italian community but its not like when i moved here like it used to be 3 little italy but now some still live there but most have moved north of toronto, woodbridge, and king township and further north. toronto has some of the most italian restaurant but a few are real authentic. as a south american and have many friends of italian heritages believe me its the only community i love to live. the old italian area have been taken over by south american because we love to follow the italians.
7:02 Just the time to feel like a proud pugliese and already have to leave 😉 Considering the topic of the video I think it'll be London or Toronto.. but I Hope for Toronto. In any case buon viaggio 🤗

Non saprei cosa scegliere, Milano è molto europea oramai, forse come metropoli italiana avrei inserito Torino. Ti auguro il meglio da questa tua nuova avventura: _Comunque vada sarà un successo!_
And we all would miss you guys. In the end you've have an italian passport so, you could come back here to keep us company whenever you feel like doing that, in any case.
Im an Italian born living in Toronto. Yes our heritage to the old country is stronger then the American Italians. reason is that immigration went to the USA first and they are beyond 4 gens there. We Ital-Canadians jokingly are more Italian then Italians...lol
If I were … me (!) I’d go to Toronto, even if I’ve never been there! Milan is a beautiful city, but I’ve always been there as a tourist, so you get to see only the pros of it. Well, now we’re curious: where are you going to move to? Ciao!

If you end up in Milano, try the gelato in menagio. Best gelato we had during our Italian visits.
Hi Katie I think you're going to Toronto and I'll be sad to see you leave italy! I have a question I don't know if I missed it from previous videos but how did you learn to speak so beautifully what type of classes did you take? Can you share?
We will miss you Katie :( have a good life!!
I thought Argentina had more Italians outside Italy that anywhere else….Buenos Aires would have been my pick over Toronto
My guess is Milan, since you've already lived in London. Canada is too close to home. :D Can't wait to find out if I am right!
Milan - please don’t leave Italy :) xxx
Fingers crossed for Milano!
Hello from Toronto. It’s only cold in the winter lol. Our four seasons are beautiful especially fall. Large Italian community. Me being one of them.
Milano!
Milano or London! Where’s the pup? It seems like you might have left him with a pet sitter on the other side of the Atlantic so he didn’t have to do the back and forth on the long flight. Either way, I wish you all the best! It’s always exciting to start a new adventure!
Milan hopefully
Can you move your pup with you to London or Toronto? Also, I loved the brief time I spent In Toronto, but the traffic was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Like even worse than Chicago!
Very smart remark... That could be decisive... But I checked and you only need a pet passport and it should be feasable...
...God, do I have too muche spare time? 🤣😃🤣😃
I'm guessing Toronto.
All the best chef have to make great experience outside the hometown before move to Milan and open own restaurant or activities.
in Milan you'll miss the sea. nothing else matters...Have you considered Genova?
Yeah, I would miss fresh veggies and fruits too if I left Italy.
Ciao Katie! Hope it’s Milano! Auguri!
Canada for sure, judging by the shape of the attic :)
im from south america and been living in toronto for most of 50 years and yes the gta or greater toronto area has a large italian community but its not like when i moved here like it used to be 3 little italy but now some still live there but most have moved north of toronto, woodbridge, and king township and further north. toronto has some of the most italian restaurant but a few are real authentic. as a south american and have many friends of italian heritages believe me its the only community i love to live. the old italian area have been taken over by south american because we love to follow the italians.
7:02 Just the time to feel like a proud pugliese and already have to leave 😉 Considering the topic of the video I think it'll be London or Toronto.. but I Hope for Toronto. In any case buon viaggio 🤗
Toronto? Cold and miserable in winter and in Summer mosquitoes the size of drones. What about Vancouver?
i lived in Milano for 36 years, summer are hot as hell due to high humidity and tiger mosquitos attak in group 24h no stop, winter are depressing due to the fog,
For me Rome is the perfect choice for you !
Non saprei cosa scegliere, Milano è molto europea oramai, forse come metropoli italiana avrei inserito Torino.
Ti auguro il meglio da questa tua nuova avventura: _Comunque vada sarà un successo!_
Grazie mille ❤️❤️
And we all would miss you guys. In the end you've have an italian passport so, you could come back here to keep us company whenever you feel like doing that, in any case.
Buona fortuna Katie, ovunque andrai.
❤️❤️❤️
Im an Italian born living in Toronto. Yes our heritage to the old country is stronger then the American Italians. reason is that immigration went to the USA first and they are beyond 4 gens there. We Ital-Canadians jokingly are more Italian then Italians...lol
If I were … me (!) I’d go to Toronto, even if I’ve never been there!
Milan is a beautiful city, but I’ve always been there as a tourist, so you get to see only the pros of it.
Well, now we’re curious: where are you going to move to?
Ciao!
For an English mothertongue if business is the motivation, then London hands down (amongst the given list).
It's not all about the careers.... it's about people and relationships. But I think Canada.
