I really like this deck and I have the Believe In Your Own Magic and love the messages. I would love her to do a deck and oracle in this style but geared to a more "mature" reader!
I’ve been quite fascinated by people’s responses to this deck and I’m so glad you took the time to do a walkthrough and share. While I get that each deck will resonate differently with each person, or sometimes not at all, I find it incredibly limiting when someone takes one aspect they don’t like and immediately write the deck off. I’ve seen a lot of disregard for this deck because it’s all young people. I really appreciate your ability to see past the surface level and dive into someone’s creation and see all aspects of it!
12 y.o. me, 16 y.o. me, hell, 25 y.o. me would have loved to have had a tool like this! And even though those years are long passed for me, I still purchased this deck!

As someone whose family is immune compromised, I love the empress has a mask. It’s a good reminder to take care of self and protect others too.

I’m not sure this deck is for me, but can I say I appreciate you giving a brief description of the cards. As someone with a visual impairment sonetimes I feel like I’m missing details. It gives me ideas for how my partner and I can do our own videos and pick out important details.
I would have liked this deck enough to buy it had it not completely excluded male characters. I like the artwork, backs and muted colours very much, and I do understand why some deck creators choose female characters for every card. It just doesn't work for me, I prefer a more balanced deck, with both male and female characters. It's a lovely deck for autumn though, very cute!
Amazing deck, great video. The Empress card is very powerful for me. A mother protecting her infant.

Really loved this walk through. I think it's a deck that's got to come into my collection soon. The only thing I'd like to see more of in this deck and others is more representation of disabled people / people with disabilities. There are so many ways to depict varying abilities (there was a girl with a prosthetic leg in her oracle deck). I do feel it's time for there to be at least one in each suit and in the majors. Other than that, it's gorgeous and is on my list!

Definitely would like to see more than only a person in a wheelchair to represent disabilities, even though most disabilities are invisible. You could do someone with or without a prosthesis. A hearing aid. A guide dog. Of course this goes along with not making everyone thin and young etc etc.
The only older woman of about 60 to 70 is the 9 of pentacles. I wish that was the only thing different about the deck. And having more older women hanging out with younger women. I do love the diversity of health stuff. I didnt see anything representing alopecia though. I'm just saying she did an amazing job representing real woman in real world scenarios. Which is different than any deck ive seen. I also wish she could make am all male deck like this one the same and then maybe a deck with men and women. People love these type of decks because its more real world rather than the fairy tale princess stuff. I just ordered this deck. I love it. I've seen the modern witch tarot but I've put off from buying decks but this one you can use all year round. It reminds me a lot of everyday witch tarot and light seers tarot. Deffinitly cozy vibes. I loved seeing a bit of van life in there as well. I would have loved to see a camped scene for the chariot. Like a girl driving a camper. But the bicycle is fun as well.

I'm so back and forth on this... only thing keeping me is the mask.... I have such PTSD from cvd and losing friends and family, I just hate the reminder 😔 it's so beautiful thoooooooo 😫
I totally understand! That's sort of what I was trying to express. I think masking is a good thing -- but it brings a lot of us back to a difficult time, too, which was why I was initially struggling. :) I am glad I was able to reframe to remind me of masking pre-covid but it wasn't without effort.

This is a deck you can pick up and do a quick and easy read. Beginner friendly but also a comfortable deck for more advanced readers. I usually pair her oracle deck with the cosy witch and get great results ❤
I actually really appreciate the face mask in the Empress. I think you could see it as another nod to diversity and inclusivity as there are members of our communities that do still need to or choose to wear face masks whether for their health or for that of others.
For sure!! I think my initial struggle was a totally selfish desire to not be reminded of a stressful time
I wasnt quite connecting with the cozy witch, but then i paired it with the gaia oracle and the flip through of them together felt profound.
The cozy witch reminds me of my teenage self, an older inner child.

Oh my goodness. After watching this video, I decided to do a daily card pull for myself with my copy of this deck and I pulled THE SAME CARD!! What?!! That's nuts.
I think those witch hats from the first card were actually first designed for the Harry Potter movies, I believe it was the Beaubatons house who wears them, then they were reproduced places like Etsy. Anyway, thanks so much for your walkthroughs. I enjoy when people who actually seem to have a deeper knowledge and experience with cards do walkthroughs and actually have very interesting and valuable things to say about each card. I learn a lot, even though I'm experienced myself. Editing to add that I love how the court cards are actually shown doing something to represent their meanings rather than just sitting on a throne or on a horse etc. I think if more decks did this, people would have much less trouble with them.

I got this deck a few days ago, based on the recommendation from your other video. So many of the cards resonate and it's definitely a cozy and sweet deck. It has the same vibe to me as the Everyday Witch, but maybe even a cozier vibe. And love the messages at the bottom of the cards!

Hi Lisa, I got this deck also It has such beautiful wording on the bottom of the card. Its so gentle and so on point. I was also worried about having the wording on the bottom of the card in the beginning but once I had it in my hands it seem to compliment the card even more. I’m torn about this one. Right now it’s a fabulous price on Amazon and does look lovely, but I’m afraid I will end up neglecting it and pass it on. It's really not a deck for me, but it is neat to read their interpretations. I especially enjoyed the interpretation of the Knight of Swords. I also read it as someone ambitious and/or confident they can reach their goals. Thank you for the walkthrough!
Oh, you can totally get coloured and patterned N95/KN95s now! Everyone can look pretty while taking care of themselves & their community. You can get goth ones too, including solid ones (flo mask) with a front filter so your glasses don't steam up. 😊 Love, your friendly disabled neighborhood Long Coviding spokesperson.

I almost did not order this deck due to the face mask on the Empress. There is nothing more pure than a mother sharing her immune system with her new baby through her breast milk. Her breastfeeding her baby would have been a better representation of the abundant Empress. I also disagreed with the mask mandate, so this goes against everything I believe in, but I did purchase it. I will try to view her as immune compromised instead. But I still think it evades the purity of the bond of a mother and her infant.

It just bugs me so much that the cat isn't visible in the mirror on the box and first card 😅
Aw. It may be less obvious but the mirror is angled upward (away from the cat). If it was a straight up and down mirror, it would bug me too but you can tell by the fact that only the tops of her socks being visible that it's leaning backward - thus... no cat reflection!

I still don’t get the 7 of wands. The guidebook does not speak of it as bullying but as it’s OK to dress down a witch by a large group of witches. can anybody help me reframe this card?
I was wondering about that card too. That's the only one that really bothers me.
OH! I take this card to mean that when you see a group of witches gaining up on someone that you should speak up! To me, this seems like a first person perspective card. You see someone's being outnumbered and ganged up on - what are YOU going to do about it? I think that's the accountability the card is referencing, or at least that's how I interpreted it! It's pretty clear that what's going on is not okay (at least to me)!
It bugs me too. I get how it could be taken as a situation you should step in to stop. But it does really look like the group is using the excuse to "hold her accountable" by ganging up on her. If it said "hold witches accountable" instead of "hold *a* witch" (singular) accountable, it would make a difference.

I never read with the oracle until I got this deck. Now they are inseparable.
Am I the only one that really doesn't like the backs on these!? I think they're awful and dislike them with a passion. It's the thing that stops me from getting this deck 😅🙃💔
