- Bad news, the Octane has been removed from GERBER's catalogue and it is becoming more and more difficult to find one.
Warning: the only bit holder that fits on the Octane is the narrow slot bit holder (for medium flat screwdrivers) which is also no longer available from GERBER. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

I didn't even know this Gerber model existed!!! I might have to pick this up!! I wonder if the Jaws open as wide as the Jaws of the MP600? Gerber makes the best multitools at the best value I think. Sometimes I feel anxious about being too rough with some of my Leatherman multitools, but not my Gerber multitools.
Yes, indeed, the Gerber MP600 (especially in Bluntnose version) are used without caution unlike Leatherman's Wave and Charge which may seem less robust for some tasks... and which are more expensive. The jaws of the Octane pliers are thinner than those of the MP600 Needlenose pliers but the formats are different.

Vin, (diesel...lol 😂...i know, stupid, you probably hear this all the time, sorry). I see why this is one of your favorites. It seems like it might be the perfect edc for many people. I would like a version, sans the knife. That way it would be so slim. Thanks for the review

Performance bon coupe-emballage en plastique? Ouvre-bouteille unique? Design et couleur sinueux? Je suis très intéressant et j'aime aussi OCTANE ~ ^^

What is very practical with Octane compared to Skeletool is its one-handed opening:)
Never buy a multi tool without replaceable cutters on the pliers. Unless you dont plan on cutting a lot.

This old Octane smokes that Center Drive piece of crap Gerber is pushing. You can’t even cut a 12 gauge wire with one clip with the Crnter Drive. Gerber should have just made a screwdriver and put their name on it instead of pushing the piece of crap Center Drive. I like this Octane tool though this one looks extremely functional
