Personally I love the Chase series and regard them as hidden treasures when I find them online, so don't even talk about seeing them in real life, it's hard as heck to get to see one! I love them because of they're custom and detailed paint schemes. They were made when rad bikes had rad designs on them right out of the factory! I believe I'm quite fortunate because I'm able to own one myself, and it's the Cannondale Chase 1 model that I got just as a frame and built it with more modern parts. They're so rare, makes me wanna catch them all! Especially ones that have been very well taken cared of! I love your videos man, not many mtb-ers cover dirt jumping. Rock it bro!
Thanks! 😁 Glad you're enjoying the videos. I love making them. They are so much fun. The Chase is very nice and seems to be hard to find. I'm sure a collectable in the future. If not already. Enjoy!
I bought this a few months ago and it’s held up really well, the rear hub had some issues but it’s getting squared away. It rides really nice especially since I’m used to a small bmx bike, I’ve changed the cranks and chainring and now I love it.
Hi sir, can you suggest a dj bike with tall seat tube enough for me to cycle on with my rodie friends on weekend bike ride and ride pump tracks with my son. Im 6 foot tall btw. Thanks!
I can't think of any DJs that would have a tall seat tube. You could always install a longer seatpost if the stock one is too short. You might have have trouble keeping up with road bikers on a single speed dirt jumper. The other option is to look at a cross country mountain bike. You'll have gears to keep up with your roadie friends and you'll still have fun at the pumptrack with it.
Trying to choose between the La Bomba and the Dave. Any recommendation for someone just starting out, coming from mountain biking. I am 5’10” tall with a slim build.
I'm 5'9 and the Med GT feels better than the Dave to me. The Dave is basically the same geo as the size large Labomba. DJ are typically one size fits most. The larger dirt jumper sizes are usually meant for taller riders over 6ft. Size M Labomba should be fine.
nice bike but the fork is low/medium performance! Even the drivers at the photos/videos on their page drive Dave with the pike, you can't order/configurate. nice Video, greetings
Have you heard of the Dave? What do you think?
Same frame as the GT, but different paint and stickers.
Its $300 cheaper than GT labomba. So maybe its worth it.
@@code3xiv they are actually different frames. The geometry is different. Probably made in the same factory but definitely different frames.
@@code3xiv also the gt comes with some upgraded parts as well
Bought myself the Dave last week to help improve my MTB skills. So far I love it and my skills are slowly progressing.
That awesome. A DJ is a great way to up the skill level. Enjoy the new bike!
Hey! That’s the animation I did! 🙌🙌🙌
Also DJ are sweet. The Bike Hub is awesome. Awesome video!
I'm really loving that animation. Thanks for doing it!
i just got one of these, its a lot of bang for the buck compared to what else is available. i like it.
Very good value and thoughtfully spec'd. Enjoy!
Another well done breakdown of the bike. I really liked my visit to the bike hub also. I also got to meet J.V. for the first time.
Thanks Rico! Good people at the Bike Hub.
You sir are a bad influence, The more Dirt Jumper content you make the more I want one.
N+1 😃
@@AdrenalineIsLife N+1 indeed

Very nicely made video, I always thought about buying something like this for the pump track.
Thanks! It's a nice setup for the money. I think this one is a good crossover bike for someone coming off a modern mountain bike.
Very nice bike ! Also because Max Fredriksson is riding them :-)

Not a bad bike for the money. Enjoy!
what cranks did you buy for it and why just wondering thinking of getting one
2019 - 2023 are recalled. Both Dave and Labomba. Free freshy for anyone who owns one!
Hey! I'm really interested in this bike, but I'm 5'6... do you think I should look for a smaller frame size?
Go with a different bike. GT Labomba in a size M or an Marin Alcatraz in a Short are good options.
debating swapping the mtb for this or the labomba they have. still deciding
The GT feels a little more compact than the Cannondale. If you can try them out in person it'll help you decide. Both very nice bikes.

Hi Dave can u review the PK jump bike when u get a chance. Are they worth the money ? Thanks
I've been called many things but never Dave. 😃. Are you talking about the SE Ripper dirt jumper?
nice bike but the fork is low/medium performance! Even the drivers at the photos/videos on their page drive Dave with the pike, you can't order/configurate.
nice Video, greetings
The frame looks just like recent GT la bomba...like exactly the same.
They are different. There are differences in the geometry.
It's a rebadged GT La bomba
Cannondale and GT have the same parent company, so that's not surprising. The Dave is basically the same geo as the size large Labomba.
That gt la bomba way better
The Labomba is very nice but also more expensive.
