Therapy is the sounds, therapy #2 is the feel, therapy #3 is the firing.

I have bought an APX A1 brand new. The handgun has exceedingly tight tolerances until after you shoot 100~200 rounds. after that the whole field strip maneuver can be done at the press of your fingers. I have a Burris Fastfire 4 on the slide, the gun is accurate and reliable, tough not as "bite off steel and shit nails" reliable as the M9, which however costs much more and doesn't have an optics ready slide on all models.

Love this gun, fits in the hand great and a very easy to rack the slide and love the texturing ,makes for a non slip grip

Just discovered an easy way of depressing the take down button, ever notice the raised triangle on the side of the magazine, line the button up on top of the triangle and push lever moves easy now, i think that is why the raised triangle is there, hopes this helps

I just want to say you’re giving this extra steps. All you have to do is
    1. push in the release button
    2. Hold down the lever and pull the trigger
    3. Remove the slide.

I regret buying this gun for this exact reason 😂

I thought it was just me in needing help pushing the takedown lever. I've been essentially using the edge of a table to push it in to activate it. A bit frustrating

Why do you release the slide after pressing the takedown button? I just watched a video where the takedown process starts with a forward slide which is one less step.

I love my apx a1 except for the fact the slide doesn't lock back on an empty magazine. I'll probably just sell it and get a P365

Should lock back just like he showed in the video...

@ruvimtrofimovich nope. Thinking about getting rid of it and getting a Glock or Sig instead.

This shows a very difficult way and the use of the magazine like that can damage it or the finish on the gun! There's a far easier way where you just turn the lever first, easily as it's not under stress from the rack being slid backwards, then fire the gun, push the slide forward. Easy to where a 10 year can do it. Videos out there to show this.

love the APX but it always boggles my mind why a pistol in 2023 is this finicky for a simple field strip.

      Added safety I guess!??

    • @giovannibattistaponzetto5860
      @giovannibattistaponzetto5860 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

I have an APXA1. it is finicky for about the first 100 rounds. After that, when all tolerances settle, there are no problems going forward. The issue is that I admit that's a problem since it should at the very least be covered in the manual, like "for the first 150 rounds use a punch or an hard angled surface to keep the button pressed in order to use the disassembly lever."

Ridiculous take down.. not you.. but that Beretta makes you jump through these hoops. I would never buy one of these.. because of the field strip procedure.

      It definitely isn’t this complicated.
Once you get the hang of it it’s easier than a Glock IMO.
