Nice to see a simpler overview of POET's tech for the layman to understand. There is such a massive need for this in AI with all the power and cooling issues datacentres are seeing, and POET's tech is years ahead of anything else on the market. (and they hold the patents) The company is incredibly undervalued given the growth they are about to see in 2025 and 2026, when key milestones and commercialization are expected. With such broad application and demand, this stock is worth serious consideration. Keep an eye on them-they’re positioned to lead in a rapidly expanding market.
A lot!---STREAMLINED MANUFACTURING: COMBINES ELECTRONICS AND PHOTONICS ON A SINGLE PLATFORM ELIMINATING COSTLY ASSEMBLY AND ALIGNMENT PROCESSES. ENAHANCED PERFORMANCE- REDUCES SIGNAL DEGRADATION. LOWER COST OF PRODUCTION......POETS OPTICAL INTERPOSER IS DISRUPTIVE AND A GAME CHANGER. SEE THE COMPANY'S INVESTMENT PRESENTATION FOR MORE.
My understanding is traditional optical transceivers are manufactured 1 at a time and the optical alignment process is done by hands 1 at a time. Poets process is done at wafer level, allowing multiples to be produced on wafers at the same time (not sure how many a wafer yields). The optical alignment process is also done during the manufacturing process and is not required to be done by manual labor. I also believe the "test bench" for poets solution is built into each optical transceiver allowing for rapid testing during the process. Poet has also enabled the platform to easily scale from 800gb/s to 3.2tb/s without major design changes (I believe they state you can just add another chiplet to the transceiver package as opposed to redesigning)
Information at the speed of light.
Time to become a multi billion $ company. Go Poet !
One data center can use 1,000,000 of this Poet chips at 500.00 a pop. Start printing money Poet. Let's go

WOW this is huge.
👍
How is it different from Optical transceivers that’s been used by existing data centres ?
