    I have been eyeing this stuff as you have been sharing and it looks really impressive. Do you have any of the commercial stuff? I would be interested to learn more about that. But I guess this could also be used for light commercial, just not as fast charging right? Great video 👏

      I have the commercial stick edger, a few commercial batteries, and a quick charger for them. I wanted to get this review out before showcasing the commercial side, but It will be coming soon. Yes the main difference is the quick charge on the commercial batteries charging in 8 to 12 minutes from zero to full depending on the charger vs an hour on the dual charger for two 5ah batteries on the prosumer line. Thanka for watching!

    After looking on their website I have to say that I was kind of impressed with how fairly priced their stuff is for the home tools. Very affordable for the quality imo. Thanks for the great review - no BS and straight to the point!

      The 850 cfm blower is insane. I decided to replace my 770t echo backpack for general maintenance with it. I plan on putting a shoulder strap on it to keep it ergonomic. It only gets really expensive getting into their new batteries but with 8-10 minute charges it was an easy sell for my business.

    So is the only difference between the prosumer tools and the commercial tools the batteries?

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Both are made well, the commercial tools are a bit more HD than the prosumer but about the same. The commercial batteries charge in 8 to 12 minutes while the dual charger can charge two of the 5ah batteries in about an hour. Very nice stuff. Thanks for watching!

      The mower came with the dual charger, thr other equipment came with single chargers.

    I've used rhe Ryobi rechargeable mower from the 1990s. It ran about 30 minutes on a single charge cutting maintained yards. Charge time seems like it was somewhere between an hour to maybe 3. It wasn't impressive. How does the new compare?

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      With the dual charger, you can charge two 5ah batteries from 0% to 100% in about an hour - this was much faster than my other Toro 60V equipment that I used to run - it took around an hour to charge one 2.5ah battery. The Kress commercial batteries have the ability to recharge in 8 minutes. I also run some Ryobi battery equipment and I would have to say the Kress is more powerful and batteries last much longer on a charge than my Ryobi batteries do.

  • @crowdnine878
    @crowdnine878 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    So about 14,000 square feet of maintained turf on a charge with one hour charge time? Not too bad i suppose but if you have larger lawn or are doing it for a living it doesn't seem to be practical 😕

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      If you are doing this commercially, Kress has a full commercial line of batteries that charge in 8 minutes from 0% to 100%. They charge much faster than it takes to deplete them. As far as the prosumer batteries, these still have some pretty impressive longevity for battery tools. I would say if you get much bigger than 14k lawn, most contractors or homeowners would likely be using a riding mower. Even with that, the other 60V tools really make a big difference when you don't have to mess with mixing fuel and doing maintenance on gas engines. Thanks for watching!

      For me power is not the question. How long can it mow on a single charge if it's a lawn you maintain weekly or biweekly I s the grass is under roughly 7 inches tall?@@TheLawnLover

    • @TheLawnLover
      @TheLawnLover  12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@crowdnine878 I can mow my lawn twice per week (roughly 7,500 square ft) at 3"-4" and use about 80% of one battery to mow the entire lawn. I charge them once per week - both of the 5ah batteries charge in one hour combined on the dual charger. I have used several battery tool brands over the years, most recently Toro and Ryobi and Kress is by far the most powerful and longest lasting batteries that I have used. This is just the prosumer line, the Kress commercial batteries are even more impressive - recharging in only 8 minutes.
