Chena Dome Trail day hike August 26 2021

I had planned to be back packing Chena Dome Trail. After my failed attempt at Granite Tors last weekend I reduced my expectations from doing the whole 30 miles as a 3 night trip to potentially just an overnight with the option to dayhike.
The hill to get to the bench did me in and I decided at that point I was doing day hike so I turned around at this point.
As an aside, the people who brought this bench up here are rock stars. This is such a nice tribute to this person.
Also I need to get better at navigation and orientation. I totally failed at understanding how far up we had actually gone; I thought we'd only gone 1500' when we'd actually done 1800 and and we started at over 900' so we were at over 2800' when I stopped.
