$25 for tea cups is way too much! The list is getting longer!

How much were they charging for the vanity set...you never said. And the pot with the wooden handle next to the divided plates looked vintage as well.

I didn’t ask…I left it thinking I wouldn’t be able to resell it…still kicking myself for not getting it!

Your makeup is lovely. The tea cups we have lots of in England because our oldies used to rarely use them, kept them in china cabinets "for best". People now either pick them up from charity shops (thrift stores or car boot sales) for not very much money, and either use them to hold afternoon tea events or even turn them into holders for scented candles. They are very pretty in my opinion and should be used for drinking refreshing cups of tea, especially outdoors in the summer months. $25 is rather steep in my opinion.

And just to add... My favourite pattern of all is Indian Tree. It is very common, but I love it. I think because an elderly relative always used it. Depending on the maker it can be picked up cheaply too. It can often be found in smaller guest houses too. Like the old familiar willow pattern blue china.

Thank you! I agree re: the tea cups -- generally I find them at thrifts anywhere from $3 to $5. I think whoever was pricing them, was thinking they were worth more, but unfortunately they didn't sell. It was their first time trying a sale like this to raise money for St. Vincent de Paul as well as their own church, so they probably learned some lessons from their first event. I know I'd rather sell 10 teacups for $5 each than 1 for $25. I've heard many people are using them for bridal teas with every guest having a different teacup. Thanks for watching!
