Great finds, Quin! For the 1867-1992 Canadian penny, I believe the term to commemorate the 125th birthday of Canada is "quasquicentennial". Greetings for Ontario, Canada!
You may not believe it, but I need to say. My bank gives me 2/3 boxes of pennies weekly. About 1 month ago, a customer brought in some rolled pennies which I received .....there were 9 rolls completely WHEAT CENTS!!!😊
After inheriting some coins I have taken interest in coin collecting. So has my son. I got some rolls from the bank so we can search them over Christmas break. Thanks for the great content and information
Hey Quin! I hope you have a happy holidays! I haven’t been that involved in coins recently, but I’ve been collecting video games. I’m also going to New Hampshire on a fun trip on Tuesday!
I was searching $100 a day in quarters. I went to the bank every day at lunch. Now I’m searching pennies $25 at a time. Anyway, last week I took the bank staff some crumbl cookies for being so helpful. I stopped by today to change out a box of pennies and they were so helpful. You would have thought I had a million dollars in that bank. lol.
I have a whole baggie of messed up pennies. I love your videos. Keep them coming, Quinn. P S I never see the 2009 Pennie’s any more. I wish I had looked a little harder back then. I have a few. I knew those were special.
Quin when i go into the bank i always look at the teller s change they have in the little trays ,i lucked out about a year ago and the lady put 5 or 6 of the steel pennies separate from the others. She was glad to give them to me 😱😄
Went to my bank and picked up a box of pennies like I always do. Nothing different. Took the box home and opened it up and started going through it. First roll had 8 Wheaties in it. I was shocked. Never have I got 8 in one roll. Roll number 2 had six Wheaties, again shocked. Every roll in this box , ( machine rolled ) had at least four, no less in them. At the end of the box, I now have 132 Wheaties from the one box. WOW! got A SECOND BOX I AM GOING TO GO THROUGH TOMORROW. I CAN'T EXPECT TO EVER BEAT THIS ONE BOX...EVER!
I'm learning a lot about later Canadian pennies today. I was heavy into them up to about 1985 and then nothing! I'm gonna take a magnet to my coin dump some day to see what I find.
Always check your coinstar machines I found my 1914 D wheat cent in a frys coinstar machine about a year ago seems like every time I seen a what cent in a coinstar machine it’s always a wheat cent. And same thing with silver coins seems like the machines don’t like wheat cents and silver coins.
I collect every Canadian penny I get, no matter what the condition is. I have over 400 which is not surprising being that I live in Connecticut and they’re common here
Do you ever wonder how the federal reserve will include Canadian coins in the rolls, but if you try to put them in the coin machine at the bank they get kicked out?
Do you ever have battles to see whose top 5 pennies are better? I can beat at least 5 of your best pennies with pennies I keep in my pocket. Pennies aging perfectly are worth the most. I have holographic spirits popping out of real us mint pennies
@Quin's Coins, Ive got a 1917,& 1919wheat pennies plus many duplicate pennies from 1934-1958!! And a copper nickel. 🇺🇸😐 I've been lugging around these pennies for 26Yrs. And Yes, Im gonna unload them SoOn. 😐
Do you clean your coins before you put them in your books? And when you’re done going through the boxes of coins, what do you do with them? Rerole them, take them lose back to the back?
I actually found a 1939 s Jefferson nickel 2 weeks ago which I think is a key Date and I'm just missing one more time for my modern/clad series and that is the 1978 D dime I am also on the lookout for a 1996 w Dime but those are really rare of course
I don't wear gloves, I believe it helps build immunity. I didn't wear a mask and never use hand sanitizer, I acquired covid antibodies but never had symptoms.
Forget the germophobia, have you seen how dirty someone's hands get when going through that many coins? I see nothing wrong with his preference of gloves.
Merry Christmas Eve everyone !!
Have a Very Merry Christmas coming Quin !!
Thank you Linda! Merry Christmas to you too!
I love your channel! Thanks so much for all the effort in educating and entertaining the coin community!

42:05 Hey Quin why don’t you throw that extra 2010 zinc in that uncrowned Obverse slot! Quite an upgrade I would think 😁
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you, Deborah n your brother and families!❤🎉 Watching this Jan 2, 2024.

Watching day after Christmas, So merry Christmas late. I keep all 2009 and 2017-P. There are Doubling or die chips on some those pennies.
I have 4 2009’s but I didn’t know about 2017-P’s tho. Very interesting!
YES I HAVE FOUND THEM IN ROLLS
Quinn. I hope you are going back to those Memorials. Lot to offer from those !
Hey Quin, have a Merry Christmas. I have to wear a boot because i fractured it, and I won't get it off until the 28th of December.
Quinn, the special 55, and 56 young head Canadians are not errors, but varieties. Thanks for the video, always fun.😊
I also keep the 2009's, but not the zinc-rot ones.
Good hunt! Pretty crazy finding that rarer and newer Canadian Cent.
I think Quin keeps All the Canadians because theyre not making them anymore !
Would you grade the Lincoln, childbirth, and all of those would it be worth grading them they’re uncirculated

Nice! I try that too but haven’t had much luck with it :D

A 125th anniversary is called a quasquincentennial. Strange lol.
That sounds right! Not the most useful term in general, but ends up being pretty useful when dealing with Canadian coins lol
You should Keep ALL the Canadians now
Happy holidays!
The top of the 7 is lower than the top of the 9 and 0 on the 1970-S large date.
1915 S found today in a bank box.
Love your vids you should post a new one plss 🙏 😢
I collect every Canadian penny I get, no matter what the condition is. I have over 400 which is not surprising being that I live in Connecticut and they’re common here
70-S I like to look at the 9
Is the mint mark in the same place for the 2023 Philadelphia I couldn’t see it.?
QUIN...Wheres your brother ?
12/25/2023 Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
R u just trying to find all the coins your self for them books or with help.....if with help please put a list of what you need
Just myself. I appreciate the offer though!
Do you ever wonder how the federal reserve will include Canadian coins in the rolls, but if you try to put them in the coin machine at the bank they get kicked out?
Is that true? I believe that coin machines accept copper/zinc Canadian pennies- just not steel
@@QuinsCoins Canadian coins always get kicked out at my bank regardless of the denomination.
Did you check that sent to see if it was still
Gloves are SMART Quin !!
My best is a 1921 fire bred wheat cent with a 4 star port error. I say 4 star ports are interviewing Lincoln's word
I think I have the only 1970 smiling Lincoln penny, Do you think it’s worth anything?
can you do golen dollar rolls?
Is it nighttime

I throw Canadian pennies out the window 🤪

I've had way too many close calls with the 1978 D dime I keep finding Philadelphias instead of Denver minted dimes
I'm also on the lookout for a 1973 S Penny
😗😃☮🎲💙💚Sounds good luv !
What do you do with the pennies that you don’t use? Send it back to the bank?

Right off the bat it is not. Cool it is..
Those are cents. America doesn't make pennies, England does.
Oh hey! I made this video just for you: th-cam.com/video/u7uVgOxoA4M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HLGJlJMFQbQT25fM

Dude, stop with the germophobia and the gloves. Seriously.
What? Lol

Completely agree...you just never know where/what a coin has touched. It's not a mere phobia...it's a frightening reality! 😅
Johnmurphy got the covy43?
You say you don't keep most of the newer Canadian cents you find. What do you do with them? Because coin machines won't accept them.
I do keep them all! I haven’t figured out what to do with them yet 😂
