I've been trying to drop content in time for teachers coming to Myanmar for the new teaching year. I hope this helps you to find friends and community. Even though this event is over, the same people are always running events. And you will start to run into familiar faces and make friends. There are people from all over the world here. So whatever country you are from you will find your community and language. The many embassies and cultural centers here are always holding some cool event like movie nights, music, foodie events and on and on.

I hope it helps to understand life here if you are considering living and working here.

I am currently living in Mandalay. Will be coming to visit Yangon in October. Looking forward to explore all the places you have shown.

You are a tough one! Life here is much easier than life in Mandalay currently. So you will be able to breathe more easy and enjoy life and feel more relaxed. When I was in Shan State so many people were on the move down from North Shan. And now the situation changed again. So Yangon will be good for your peace. Bless.

Mostly Qualified and Licensed/QTS teachers use Schrole. For those asking me about English Teacher and other non qualified teacher jobs I see a lot going here. I can not vouch for any of these places but there you go!. Most seem to pay 2K a month (licenced teachers depending on scale a lot more of course!) for these types of jobs from what I see so it would more than cover you here: facebook.com/groups/174140429645441/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=2351842261875236

This is who build the incredible bamboo pavilions you see at the French Institut in the background. Raphael also built the bamboo kindergarten and dorms for Jochen and Sonne Chin IDP camp you will see in the video that will drop next week: facebook.com/share/p/5r3Zs4ViRfYyM7ez/

Thank you so much. As you know I can not speak about certain things. But you can get an idea of how things are. So many young people left and or are leaving including my friends children. Today I go to a party as my friend sends her son to 'study' in Thailand.

I'm glad to hear that our southeast Asian countries are trying to protect our mother planet and trying to make plastic free countries. Blessings from Singapore ❤
