Marcella Mckinney girl get you a LLC from your state website or u can google how to do that, make sure to trade mark your name and check it against the name database. Once u get approved for your LLC, then u can start purchasing. Some vendors like u to have an invoice but u won’t have this of course. They will ask u to submit your LLC license and start selling. Also, it varies by state so make sure that u research your state requirements. Good luck girl u got this!

Mii_turity Hi! I went online and just googled USA fashion trade shows 2018 (obviously now you’d do 2019) and I found a comprehensive list of all the trade shows. I looked to see where they were all located and just chose one that was closest to me. The closest one was 4 hours away so I drove there the next day! You should be lucky though, Atlanta tends to have a few. But if not, don’t be afraid to travel!

He’s right you can start with about $1000 or less but if you want to include being able to do some ads and other marketing you’ll likely need a few hundred more at least

I believe an EIN is thru government it’s like your business social security IRS. You apply for your LLC through your state. That should include your business name.

i live in texas also and i was wondering how did you get your shop legal? i’ve been thinking about going through legalzoom but have been wondering maybe going through the county is cheaper?
