@@u-set-positivemind Thank you for your kind words! I was feeling down about the lack of views, but your support gave me confidence that it wasn’t all for nothing 🥰🥰🥰
Just a thought and a suggestion, the thumbnail art or photo might be putting some viewers off 🤔 maybe try something else. No gimmicks or clickbaits just what is in your video. Good luck 🌈
@jdmenace8664 Hi! Thank you very much for the recommendations. You see what the problem is - usually it is clickbaits that work, and I am afraid that if I do not use interesting banners and clickbaits - people will not watch at all, and there are very few views anyway. But of course I will listen and try to conduct an experiment. Sorry for the late reply - I read the comment a long time ago, got distracted and did not answer, and then forgot. Now I saw it and rushed to answer. I draw the banners myself, but I am not an artist and I use the GPT chat so that it draws the background for the video, it does not always draw what I ask it))) but I'm trying to master the skills faster so that I can do everything better and I will try
❤that’s all I do) But I think that in the future I will only help very old people (because it’s not clear to young people whether a person is pretending = or really needs help). Thank you for your recommendations and views!
Thank you very much! We are a big, huge family. My wife is Filipino, my grandmothers, grandfather and I lived for many years in a place where they hardly understand a word of English)) That's why I speak Bisaya and Tagalog (but of course my level is still weak, I need to start learning words and phrases specially)). And my workers didn't know English, each new employee initially spoke to me only in Bisaya, and gradually gained vocabulary in English (which I also don't have - but we use what we have))
Thank you for watching and thank you for appreciating :) it motivates me to do more good deeds. If only there were finances - we are up to our ears in debt, and we are still trying to finish building the resort (and all in debt))) and TH-cam hasn't turned on monetization yet, in general, not everything is easy - but we believe in a bright future and will act
Thank you very much, it's so nice that you watch all my videos - don't forget to give me constructive criticism so that I can better understand what mistakes I make and how to improve the video. And where you from? )
Not good to feed them. You're encouraging them to be perpetually dependent instead of getting their act together and be self supporting. Help them with other ways.
Hello! Thank you for feedback. I tried to help in a different way: there is a video on the channel where I took two homeless people (one without a leg), brought them home, where my Filipina wife and I took care of them. I taught them editing, gave them a good laptop, tried to educate them. But later I regretted it, because they were lying all the time. It turned out that they were doing dangerous things in Davao, and their stories were lies. In the end, they left and did not return, although they post photos on Facebook. I spent a month of time, money, fed them, took them to cafes, gave them money - all in vain.
I also know from personal experience that sometimes (especially when everything is really bad in life) we lose hope, or even do not have enough time to act or think, or are depressed. So I decided to treat them with food (I did not give them money and never give it, because they can buy alcohol with it or give it to someone who protects them), but giving people food can be useful for the following reasons: 1. If a person is in despair, he can see that not everything is so bad and there are good people who can help 2. This food will last for 1 day - and this means that I gave these people time so that they could think without worrying about today - what is wrong in their lives, where they went wrong and there is a small chance that they can change something
I understand your point. Before helping, I try to assess if it’s worth it. The world isn’t black and white-help can spoil some, but truly aid others. Now, I focus on helping elderly people who live in extreme poverty. They lack the time and strength for change and genuinely need support. I prioritize pensioners because they’re not lazy-they simply lack resources. I know how small pensions are in the Philippines, and I have four Filipino grandmothers (my wife’s and now mine too, as we’re family).
The day before yesterday, I visited a Filipino man with mental health issues. He’s very smart but periodically goes through episodes that lead to hospitalization. Recently released, he was broken, unable to focus, and as an electronics engineer, he can’t work anymore-his mind is too impaired. I bought him food for a week to give him time to recover and not worry about feeding his children. I felt this help was essential, not about laziness. Unfortunately, I didn’t film it, but if he recovers, I’ll ask him to share his story on video and explain how my help impacted him. I tend to help off-camera 80-90% of the time, but I need to start documenting everything.
Thanks for the feedback from my comment You're kind hearted and generous. But be careful and judicious. There's a reason they're homeless which is beyond your control. My point is related to your safety and not be carried away by your feelings for what you see.
