I heard this very fine group of musicians play this breathtaking piece a few years ago in a church in Pimlico, London and I felt then that it was easily the most vivid performance of anything I'd heard up to that time. Stunning piece, but the playing here is off the scale! Not a single second of disengaged playing. All the superlatives!

My favorite piece for saxophone quartet. Must be a nightmare to try to pull off live. Nice job here!
