Transporting oversize loads in the west:
- Get a permission from local authorities
- Have the police block the roads
- Use specialized equipment
- Have escort vehicles and workers running around the trucks to direct them
- Speed should be no more than 10 km/h
Transporting oversized loads in China:
- Just use whatever truck you have, load it until it starts making strange noises, then drive it wherever and at what speeds you please.

As a Chinese let me chime in that this version is already very much "civilized", back in my childhood in the 80s the truck transportation business was a lot more wild, roads were a lot worse and crossing provincial border drivers usually ran into gangster problem and a lot drivers simply disappeared due to kidnapping,etc.
And this is why "team Steve the mechanic" do have so many broken axles , king pins , leaf springs etc. To work on :)))

Средняя нормальная допустимая нагрузка грузовика на ось по миру от 8 до 9 тонн. Это профессиональные инжинеры расчитали. А с таким весом ездить, только мосты и дороги портить. И опасно это, тормоза не будут эффективно работать и перевернуть грузовик можно. И колеса не выдерживают.
потому что такими грузовиками возят материал для дороги ,поэтому и дороги усиленные
В Китае все норм с дорогами не воруют, но грузят конечно лишка тут наверно под тон 70

not 4 axles, 199 tons is 6 axles semitrailer. 4 axles can up to 140 tons
199 тонн и передача не выше второй!😂 Полно видео где самосвалы под завязку и в горку в жопу погрузчик толкает! И Вольво с прицепом берет больше 100 тонн! Только едешь как в легковой, и не напрягаешься ,что как в китайце надо шланги чтоб на колеса да барабаны водой поливать!

The reason manufacturers still build their trucks with drum brakes is simple: cost. Drum brakes are cheaper than disc brakes.
Cheaper, more durable in bad conditions, easier to maintain.
Is it really cheaper? With that water cooling system? I don't know. Maybe. Possibly. But I don't think so it's better than disc brakes.

There is no way that marble is 120t, no single hydraulic tipper can lift that without de stabilising the truck. It’s more likely around 25-40t

Yup and the idiots still think they can compete. There will never be a better solution to the internal combustion engine. Its not hydrogen or natural gas so it wont blow up, it isnt electric that doesnt have range, its not coal that requires you to burn to make steam power. Diesel is just the best flat out when it comes to power and fuel effieciency when haul heavy stuff.

Fron what i read in the comments , it is legal because you pay a fee for every ton passing over the maximum limit permitted ...
Most of these overloaded truck on the road is illegal,but drivers or transport companies can pay fees to the traffic authority to get temporary permission or just achieve a underdesk deal you know.
