2001 Royals with the swoosh damaged looks dope. the nubuck changes over time and adds so much character.. meanwhile, tumbled leather ends up looking like a wrinlky old woman. plus, having a # is dope, imo. BTW, 2001 inside material fucks my ankles up. It's pretty rough for me when it rubs. (loose lacing, obv)

Graham Chong jb always makes less half sizes because it causes more materials to be wasted on the half inch that isn't on the shoe but you should be fine they are a GR so you shouldn't have trouble

After seeing a few ppl complain about the quality flaws in the royal 1's. I'm not sure if I should pay resell. I'd rather pay for the sbb right now. I'll eventually get them sooner than later. I never stated that I'd put sbb above the royal ones. If we're talking quality, I'd go with the shattered backboards. If we're talking about the nostalgia, than obviously it is the royals!

The tumbled leather makes the shoe look fabricated and will crease like crazy. 2017 also has no padding at all. Sir Dukes I have all three pairs. I prefer the ankle collar and tongue of the 13's but the leather is doo doo. I've worn my pair three times week since I've gotten them on release day. I clean and take good pair of my shoes but the leather on my left toe box is peeling off already. While my '01 pair still looks new.
