Haven't banked with chase since they were WAMU but keep recieving email and mail in offers for their cc. Finally signed up for CSP to decrease overall cc utilization and use it for travel perks later this yr. They approved with 17k and 80k points offer after spendin 4k the first 3 mo.
Got a couple of Chase cards and not a fan. Great ecosystem but the Chase cards need a refresh. 3 cards with a 1.5x when you can find so many 2x cards, 4 cards with the same 3x dining, 2 cards with the same 3x drugstore and no card with real grocery category and/or gas category. Great video and information!
I’ve been checking my pre approvals for the last year and it never shows my limit. Only shows the minimum amount that I’ll be approved for. Most cards say at least $500. The sapphire reserved says 10k minimum but at a $550 annual fee. NFCU high limit card only has $50 annual fee
Is 30 days enough to apply for another Chase card? I got the CFU on June 10 and plan on applying for the CFF on July 10. I have a high credit score and nowhere near the Chase 5/24 limit
exciting times with Chase. Just wish there was more transparency or data points on what your scenario has to be to get approved despite being over 5/24. Wouldn't it be amazing if they adopted the Amex policy of no hard pulls on their cards after the first one approved??
These are good things, especially if 5/24 is going away. I still think a revamp and simplifying to the lineup should happen. But I'll take what can get. Great stuff Cal!
Since many points are transferred to Air Canada Aeroplan, and because groceries and dining are high spend categories, and Chase doesn't have an Ultimate Rewards grocery category, just get the Air Canada Aeroplan card and earn 3X Groceries, 3X Dining with no foreign transaction fees, in a transferable currency that is worth 1.7X to 2X the base earning, elevating your Aeroplan points from 5.1X to 6X when booking travel. No FTX fees. $95 Annual Fee. As well as 3X on Air Canada spend.
FIRST!!!!….don’t worry, Anthony Venture is currently disqualified from participating in the “first” competition, so his “first” doesn’t count. Love the title bro!! I’m waiting to see if Chase is truly going to roll back that 5/24 rule. With the CFR, that gives me more hope than I had before that this rule might go away. Definitely DD!! I’ve never actually used that service 😂😅. Chase should bring back that 100k SUB again though. One thing chase NEEDS to do is to revamp that CSP. That card hardly gets any use in my wallet, so they better get with the program.

Wish this was around 20 years ago.
Actually, for sure these are some good updates. Especially credit limits + smashing 5/24, nice Cal!!
What's up Anthony!
I have a pre selected mail offer for the sapphire preferred for the 80k that doesnt expire until july 17 so I'll probably use it

I really wish they had this before I got the quicksilver
For real!! 😂😂
First! And Chase needs some revamps to compete!!
Stop this!! I’m the original “first” so I will always be first
need to remove the hard inquiries Is there a point of them at all reality well there's plenty of place to do only soft
Huh? Chase is the credit card game.

Agree 💯 I’ve been preaching that for 2 years 😂 Chase cards are outdated! 🫡

This means at least for having a credit card with chase for 3½ years 💯. This is a great top. I'm gonna call 🤙 tomorrow for a credit 💳 limit increase ❗
Chase is very generous with their credit limit.
I'm going to call 🤙 the right NOW...
I've had better luck receiving a platinum card from my credit unions and a lower apr.
Americans must have become more financially savvy….
