John Deere Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting

In this video I demonstrate how to identify the correct manuals associated with a piece of John Deere equipment using a smart phone app and a website provided by John Deere. I show how the manuals are grouped and how to identify full electrical schematics. I go over 1 example circuit and trace it from end to end, electrically and mechanically within the drawing sections. I discuss Diagnostic Trouble Codes and how to log and decode them. I demonstrate DTC reading on a 650H TCU black box.
