Glenn can play metal or hard rock but the with soulfullness of his voice takes any music genre to a higher level. Awsome singer.

The title track on 'The Seventh Star' is amazing. The riff is the heaviest on the record.

Very cool.I didn't know that he did any Seventh Star material during his solo gigs.

Holy fu*k this sounds the F’ing balls!
Great mix and I can’t turn it up loud enough!
This is what I was craving when I saw BS in Worcester 3/26/86 and Glenn sputtered less than 5 songs then was ordered off the stage by Tony.
    Sad just F’ing SAD man!

Glenn is a true gentleman no need for vip passes he meets and greets after the gig and signs things for you and takes time to chat, this is all after a fantastic show, great variety of vocal and song, Glenn we salute you you are truly the voice of rock, thanks for all the years

Thank you for posting this. JJ Marsh could play the lot. I would like Glenn to collaborate with JJ again. Always a special moment for me when Glenn featured some ‘Seventh Star’ tunes.

@@mmmcosta I agree also . JJ Marsh was the best guitarist from Glenn's solo career . He can play anything from Deep Purple , and this album so well .

Seventh Star is probably the most underrated rock/metal album ever. I guess if they had not published it under the Black Sabbath name, it would have gotten better publicity. I love listening to it and it has aged pretty well (similarly to most of the other stuff that Glenn Hughes did over the years).

Awesome song and performance. That's JJ Marsh on guitar.I saw the HTP show in Dudley that year.Of course Glenn and Tony Iommi should tour..Tony's health permitting.

The Seventh Star album was great but man watching the videos of him on tour back then was terrible, no wonder he got fired lol. Glad he cleaned up and kept his career going. His work with solo Tony Iommi was amazing

Apparently he got punched when he was drunk and something broke and blood drained into his throat and vocal chords and dried, so he couldn't sing.

I saw Glenn do this with so called Sabbath in 1986 and he was terrible. He was so bad and so out of shape I thought it was someone else. I NEVER saw someone so uncomfortable behind the mike. Put a bass in his hands and no drugs he's a different person. I have tickets to see his Deep Purple Show and can't wait

The reason why he sucked so much was because some road crew member punched him directly in the nose. So yeah… that one road crew member is solely responsible for Glenn’s exodus from the band.
