- Kyle Bryd has always had a love for baseball. Meeting the Arizona Diamondbacks and throwing out the first pitch with his favorite player, Adam Eaton, was just the start to a wish come true.
"My Wish" is a collaborative effort with Make-A-Wish that chronicles the granting of unique sports-related wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Of course it does! It makes me sad that such a young, with enthusiasm for life has this condition.
My son is a fan of the DBacks. He'll love this video. The DBacks were so genuine with Kyle. It's just wonderful how a whole team pulled together to make this little guy's wish come true.
All these Make A Wish videos are great but the ones with baseball teams get me every damn time. Good on everyone involved in this whole project.

When I see this it makes me so sad, my ex has a son with this condition and it is so hard to watch them slowly get worse and worse.

Kyle unfortunately passed away two weeks ago due to complications. He was just 16 years old.
RIP lil dude. May you never be forgotten…

I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 5
My wish from “Canadian Make a Wish foundation ”
in 1990 (1 week in Disneyland during their 35th anniversary)
I also got a “DREAMLIFT” 1 DAY IN DISNEYLAND from my “ENDOCRINOLOGIST (GROTH DOCTOR)” when I was 13..
both times I remember being treated like a celebrity ...
it made me forget about my different “post cancer disabilities” and for just a little while I felt “normal”
My goodness is that heartwarming, God bless you Kyle, Your sister Lauren and your entire family, Go D-Backs!

Wierdly enough I went to a kindergarten with a kid. His name? Kyle Byrd. But this was way before this Kyle's time. Hope he gets better

They are special because they will die young. That's why they are given these things, they don't get a full life like you. After death it's over.
These Wishes make you realize how lucky you are to not be born with something you cant control. :( So sad that some children need to go through this.

Hello, this is Kyle 8 years later, 15 years old. I honestly cringe looking back on this, even though I probably shouldn't since this was huge for me. Unfortunately I'm no longer super interested in baseball, but I'm big into video games. I also want to do content creation and possibly game development. But I appreciate all of these nice comments, thanks :D
