Everyone calling Curry the GOAT for this and putting him up... I give him credit but how about this girl? She just got done fighting cancer and has the chance to meet anyone, but choses her brothers Idol, to make it special for him. What a selfless act of love. I am speechless. She is the real GOAT!
She is amazing. No question about that. A fighter, selfless, and incredibly kind to her brother.
But come on, Steph took his wife with him, had a family trip with her and her family, they played minigolf together, went karting, shared a whole day with her and her family and then got both siblings involved with the team... most "meetings" are a touch and go thing of a few minutes (nothing against the players involved in those, btw, huge respect to them too), this guy took it to the whole next level.

I think Ashley would disagree. Without Steph willingness to make it happen and commit to it with the whole family and genuinely be into it. He is from NC and loves his home state fans along with being a compassionate person. Ashley's love for her brother is special but don't act like Steph's willingness to make it a joyful event for the whole family isn't deserving of recognition.

When my 12 year old son who had leukemia asked me if he was gong to die I replied that we are all going to die but we just don't know when. It was not a particulaoly good answer but it was all I could come up with at the time. He died about a year later

except that even though he might be enjoying it and liking doing it, its also a pr stunt. Steph curry did something nice! and because of that his popularity goes up, as does the popularity of his team, and their incomes.. what this pr stunt does, is make people jump on the steph curry trend, so the NBA, and the teams owners, (who both have to approve of this interaction, especially people entering the teams HQ and distracting the players from their relentless training) floods the market with steph curry merchandise knowing full well in advance that his Name is about to fly out with flashing lights around it on the internet and news. people end up purchasing merchandise, and the word spreads and more and more is bought. the companies that sell the products make bank, and gain popularity. the manufacturers gain income and get more noticed. Steph Curries Social image gets a huge boost, therefore making him a more valuable commodity, the Teams staff makes huge money, and the Nba makes pure Bank on all the fees they place on all the previously listed places and any others involved. all this is was a pr stunt tbh

I love Stephen Curry but I have to say that this is one of the most selfless acts I've seen. this girl owns a beautiful soul. she chose to see her brother happy. wrap your minds around that for second. great parents raising great children!
This is what really matters in life, being able to brighten a child, teen, or an adults life after they have suffered some tragedy. God Bless Steph Curry for understanding this. And the Warriors organization, makes us proud to be fans.

I love it when celebrities give back like this. He could have just given them tickets for a game and been done with it, but he made it special for them both. The fact that she went through so much as was concerned for her brother shows her parents raised them right. Props all around.

Update: Her Cancer went into remission, and she graduated in 2019, playing tennis and basketball for her high school. Her plans were to attend Clemson to study veterinary science.

Here I am again on that routine TH-cam journey where I watch videos that make me cry nonstop. Her shining selflessness, care and love is something we all should strive for as we take it for granted in our daily lives. Seriously. If you know someone that's struggling in any capacity help them just a little bit. A little goes a long way to someone hurting.
What a brave, kind soul she is! That was sooo wonderful of him to grant her wish & sooo loving, thoughtful & selfless of her to grant her brother his wish. Thank the Lord they won that particular game that night...what an all around WIN-WIN situation! 😁

I hope Ashley is doing well. Iam a 68yrs old with a lung cancer. I was first diagnosed in 2005 with throat cancer I went through all my cancer treatment. One thing that keeps me going is the love and support I got from my wife and my family. I am so blessed to have them in my life. God bless Ashley 💖🙏

Ashley is so extremely beautiful and strong! I am 19 years old and I can NEVER imagine going through what she has gone through. She is a warrior.
