- The House that holds loads of secrets and dark pasts, the minute I stepped foot into this place I had the weirdest feeling ever. Really freaked me out and made me feel unwelcome, knowing some history and knowing someone was strangled inside makes my skin crawl, I'm still in shock to think how much stuff was actually left behind, remember I filmed this in 2018, so please go easy with me.

This house reminds me a lot of mental illness. Unfortunately, my mother suffers from hoarding, and this reminds me of a home she owns. No maintenance, no upkeep, a beautiful home left to decay and serve no purpose other than to store things that she cannot fit in where she currently resides. That's most likely why there were more recent magazines left there. It's very unfortunate to see such a magnificent estate left to such disarray.

Sorry for your moms condition, sadly many elderly people suffer from that condition, including young people, like you say it is a mental illness. One must learn to not get attached to objects, for they enslave you at the end to them.
@@stevenhombrados1530 you're absolutely right. She can find "value" in everything and nothing at the same time. She will create a story for every little trinket, broken furniture, you name it. For every antique that "will be worth a lot of money!", She'll find a piece of furniture to bury it under. The only saving grace is that it's not necessarily"garbage" that you see on many of the hoarding tv shows, but just stuff. Stuff that she bought 20 years ago, and will never pick up again.
Sorry to hear about your mom. We don't do enough for the mentally ill. Many end up homeless. Have you tried an intervention? That's got to be the toughest illness, along with bulimia and anorexia Nervosa because you still have to eat. Ask God every morning for strength and thank him at night. (I've been in AA since 1984. I've relapsed a couple times. Life is progress, not perfection. That's another illness, OCD) Oi! Take care of yourself and good luck! If you try intervention and it doesn't work, lay down some ground rules, such as a) you won't come to the house but you could meet somewhere for lunch and b) if you have kids, they can not go to Grandma's house. OR you could call a government agency and they will make her clean up her house or it will be condemned. I hope 🙏 this helps. Take care 🙂 of yourself!
EDIT- I see she lives in another house. I guess you'll just have to wait. I went through the same thing twice, but not real hoarding and will have to do it a third time when the time comes. Having multiple houses can be nice or a horror for those that are left to deal with it.

I just starting to shred visa bills from the 1990’s, I stop at each bill, and see where I spent the money and when and with whom... damned all those dinners at fancy restaurants with ladies that didn’t deserve it! Oh well.. ce la vie i guess lol.

Voices have been added to a few of the latest videos. They all sound the same. In my opinion they should stick with the exploration of the beautiful buildings and not get distracted by fake paranormal.
Those are the voice of the little boy (Mark's son) that went with them, that they didn't want to have on camera. Dave explained this in a previous comment on this video.

Mark's reaction to that spooky door was funny! Anyway, so many thoughts running in my brain! To me, it looks like items were being packed up, like rugs rolled up and then duct taped, newish packing boxes, etc. It's probable that it is sitting in probate and if that's the case it has to be left alone as is. Wonder why it's not better secured though. I also found it sad how the woman had all of those bright curtains knowing how she must have suffered. With this video one could actually feel the history!
no joke, millions of $ worth of things in that house. I've never seen anything like this. Nearly everything is pristine condition once the dust is off.

I have been waiting for a Tudor style house my favourite era! Such a beautiful house and so big inside! There was creepy whispering at 20:16 when you were at the top of the stairs you definitely weren’t on your own in there

It's strange, you heard the door, put the camera on it and it was clearly shut, then there was an edit just after and the door was open and slammed shut! I WANT to believe it was genuine, but the edit gives me pause. Still loved this gorgeous Tudor house, what a find and what a waste, Much love you you lads xxx

It's so sad with all that history just sits there decaying. No family to come and keepsakes. Do you have a squatter law where your at? An home like that here would be taken over in a quick minute here.

This place would have been beautiful once. It is so sad to hear the background. It's a shame to see it left to rot like that. It's a crying shame it's being left to rot and the reason it's crooked is because there is subsidence under the foundations of the house. It wont be many more years before it will collapse and then have to be demolished.

I just started watching you guys a few days ago and the amount of voices I hear in this video is crazy the kid when you opened the fridge, the lady , the man when you was on the stairs, the growling at the door and the other lady when you was panning around the Starr’s again.. that home needs a blessing

I was watching this & about 20 minutes in my tv switched itself off. I waited approx 30seconds & was just about to get up to switch it back in again & the tv switched itself back on. The tv has never done this before. Beautiful property & some lovely paintings. Dolls house & the rocking horse are wonderful. Love watching you guys

She was saying something.. I replayed that part over and over again to find out what in the heck the voice was saying...
Unfortunately I lost count at 23 and I still haven’t been able to understand what the voice said ... Ughhhhh...!!!

Thanks for another great explore guys! Despite the creepy stuff going on, I still think that house has so much character and potential. It makes you wonder if someone will ever come back to restore it to it's former glory. Maybe too expensive? Anyway, stay safe, lots of love and hugs from across the pond (Ohio).
