Its a bit different depending on your car. If you have the 6mt vs the automatic, butterfly in the runners or not. Essentially its a Very simple swap, Get the spacer you need and or the butterfly delete if you desire, the gaskets, and go. You can also upgrade the throttle body at the same time, as he showed you here. The ideal one you want is the magnesium one, from the Hybrids. Best flowing, and its lighter weight, and even better heat soak properties and such. New from Honda is like 700-1200 for the manifold. So if you can get THOSE from a scrap yard for a low price you can make You a bit of money easy. Not to mention a ton of friends lol.

I think it was somebody on Acurazine who did this swap way back in the day and gained 15 WHP. It's a good mod for sure (I'm running a J37A2 manifold, which is essentially the same thing, and a Blox 74 mm TB on my "hybrid" J35).

I’m looking at doing this to my 13 accord 3.5 and was wondering, 1) do you need a tune for this to work? I know a tune will optimize it but will it work fine for 6-10 months without it? 2) are there any small parts or east to overlook things that I should keep in mind. I’m planing on getting the manifold, throttle body and thermal gaskets. Probably wasn’t going to do the manifold spacer(unless necessary) until I do runners and a tune in the future.

Depends on your goals. You could get a Haltech and a throttle body from any of the dbw models and use it. Or you can find a TB that will bolt on and custom make a cable to work. Yours may even be able to be modified to work with the new TB. Jus tall depends.
You could also, get an ECU and the wire harness with it from a DBW model and swap over to the new system.. again depends on what you want and your overall goals/budget.
