- How to be saved
1. The bad News. We are sinners. (Romans 3:23.) We deserve to be punished in hell for our sins.
Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
2. The Good News. Jesus Christ who is God's Son died on the cross for your sins. He was buried & rose again to give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Romans 6:23.)
1 Corinthians 15:2-3
For I delivered to you in the first place what I also received, that Messiah died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures.
What does DIED FOR OUR SINS mean?
-Are we allowed to keep sinning?
-Does his death nullify the Bible and how we should live?
-Should we just throw away the 10 commandments
-Did he die for are future sin (if we sin on purpose)
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of Yahweh is everlasting life in Yeshua, Messiah our Master
*Sin Still brings death
Romans 6:22
But now you are free from sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
But now you are free from sin*
-The blood of Yeshua has freed a believer from the dearth penalty of their past sins,
-but now obeying the Torah will keep you free
-where one slips up he has the blood of Messiah to make up for that.
-However if one continues to sin it will lead to death.
Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
-Now you are supposed to do things different than before you had Yeshua
-Yeshua set us free to give us another chance
-We now have a choice to choose life or death
-The gift of eternal life is a result of you living a new life. A different way than before
-Eternal life vs. Earthly life what are you securing?
and have become slaves of God
-A slave listens and follows the orders of his Master
3. How am I saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31.) Faith alone in Christ alone.
Acts 16:31
And they said, Believe on the Master Yeshua Messiah, and you will be saved, you and your household.
4. Once saved, always saved. Jesus said in John 6:47.
John 6:47
Truly, truly, I say to you. The one believing into Me has everlasting life.

I wake up, go to work, go to the gym, relax, read and study my bible, pray and worship, sleep. Sometimes I go to the store. My life. I deliberately stay away from society and sin altogether. Yet still I sin.

I agree with you. I always say to judge the sin, not the sinner. We need to be careful in our judgements to make sure we are judging the deed rather than the person.
As a born again child of our Heavenly Father, I don't HAVE to obey His commandments, I GET to obey His commandments. I totally rely on His Holy Spirit to empower me to walk in HIs Love toward EVERYONE, even my enemies, because there is NO LAW against or above His LOVE. Therefore, It is no longer I who live, but CHRIST who lives in me. I am crucified with Christ, and I am risen (born again) with Christ. I love Yeshua and our Heavenly Father so much because He LOVED me BEFORE I even knew Him. I was his enemy when He first loved me. He came to me and filled my heart with His Love, and now I get the amazing opportunity to share His LOVE with those who He brings to me. My salvation is not determined by my works, but by God's AMAZING GRACE. My fulfilling God's instructions (Torah) is the beautiful fruit of my salvation, NOT the reason I deserve to be saved. Ephesians 2:8 For it is by GRACE you have been saved, through faith--and this is NOT from yourselves, it is the GIFT of God.
Awesome word brother. It’s very interesting how many people follow and obey what mans has said instead of what the scriptures say. It’s obvious as we read through scripture that we are saved by grace but then we are commanded to live holy and shun evil. If people would actually read the word and let the Holy Spirit reveal instead of letting man interpret the word many people would actually see the truth.

Hallelujah Brother Paul. Raised as Roman Catholic I even know this you speak! I have had many Christian's tell me we are automatically saved by His Grace and will have eternal salvation. No!! They do not understand. We must keep the Commandnents, follow Yeshua's Laws that are His Words in the Torah. To be obedient, righteous, and repent. I have been separated from the Catholic Church for many reasons. One, they do keep the Sabbath Holy. It is on Saturday, not Sunday. Another is these Pagan holidays, and Saint Days, and so much more.

The blood of Messiah is applied by baptism in His name-Yeshua or Jesus -Acts 2:38 -"for remission (taking away) of your sins..." and Acts 3:39 -its for everyone who has lived since the Day of Pentecost.
my understanding about judgement is to judge yourself first that you might judge in rightness.

How can I s ick to his plan? Other than following his commandments (believe me I'm trying but I know it's not impossible) because I myself do not know yet how to seek him sincerely and follow his plan. Are there any scriptures I can use to follow as guidelines? So that I can learn to listen to him instead. Sry if I'm not making any sense.

Im having trouble in keeping the Sabbath by working cause all the jobs include Saturday and its hard to get Saturday off. What do I do? What kind of jobs that dont work saturdays?
Respectfully inform your employer that you need Saturday (the true Sabbath) off for worship. If that's a problem, then consult an attorney. This is protected by the first amendment. God bless.

Follow the Torah and receive blessings (earthly blessings) don’t follow the Torah receive cursing (earthly curses) Deuteronomy 28. Not saying they weren’t saved if they didn’t follow and isn’t saying they’re eternally secure if they did. You can grieve the spirit Eph 4:29-32. You can quench the Spirit 1 Thes 5:19-25. And you can even be so far gone in your walk that you can forget you were even saved 2 Peter 1:9. There is a sin onto death 1 John 5 and sins onto sickness and death which Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians. Not sure who all these Christians are which you recite saying you can live a care free life in sin and get away with it. Whom the Lord loves he chastens Heb 12:6-11

You allude to many great passages, but you need to actually give the specific verses, for those that are unaware.
I agree, we have to do something as apart of salvation...Its only God's grace that creates and offers us the gift of salvation... but it is our responsibility to actually accept that gift. we must hear the gospel, believe in it to the point of a faith of action, in which we repent of our evil ways, confess that Jesus is the perfect anointed savior, and be baptized by water/spirit to be saved. all of these things combined will initiate our salvation. Romans 10:17, Ephesians 2:8, Luke 13:3, Matthew 10:32, and Acts 2:38. but we must walk in the light or else we can FORFEIT our salvation, as Hebrews 6:4-8 teaches.
Brokenhill You cannot forfeit salvation IF you have been saved already so you have misquoted Hebrews totally.
Hebrews is about Jews that were curious and looking into the Gospel and the church but persecuted by Jewish leaders locally to stay with Judaism.
The writer - likely Paul, is making it clear we have gone FROM Law TO Grace and you cannot "wilfully sin" by "going back under the law".
Hebrews 6 is "tasting" the Gospel, hearing it, and THEN dropping it saying no thankyou ... and being Jewish, or other religions. They who did it NEVER GOT SAVED.
*IF saved, always saved! By Grace. The Bible is crystal clear in its context you cannot lose salvation. If you could, then Jesus lied and he drops people and eternal is not eternal and a free gift (Romans 5) isn't free.

There is no forgivness of sins without baptism. Without baptism there is no gift of the Holy Spirit either. The Holy Spirit did not descend upon the Messiah until after His baptism. Noah was baptized in the flood, and the Israelites were baptised in the sea.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Truth. And it is important to note that baptism is an act of submission towards God (accepting His gift), not a work...works do not save us, but baptism indeed does.

It is appointed for us to die once, but after this the judgment. God is going to judge the world in righteousness and the standard he is going to judge by is the moral law. Jesus said that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. God sees your thought life. He requires truth in your inward parts. “Whoever hates his brother is a murderer” 1 John 3:15. Who of us is guiltless? If you’ve lied you are a liar, and all liars have their part in the lake of fire.
So how are you going to do on judgement day? We are all going to be guilty and the lake of fire is a reality for all who die in their sins. But God is rich in mercy. Born of a woman, God was manifest in the flesh as Jesus of Nazareth who suffered and died on the cross. God loves us so much that while we were still sinners Christ died painfully for us. He took our punishment so we could be forgiven. Then he rose from the dead and was witnessed by hundreds. You and I broke God’s Law, Jesus paid the fine. What you and I must do is repent and trust alone in Him. Do that today and you’ll pass from death to life! If you want to learn more about what Jesus did for you, read the gospels.
Matthew 5:27-30 teaches believers to NOT look at women with lust.

The law was fulfilled by Christ. We are given many warnings in scripture not to go back to the law. It makes Christ of no effect.....

Why does he say "God's Son died for our sins" when he believes Jesus is God. Why not just say God died for our sins? Why echo what the Bible says when you don't actually believe it? Don't beat-around-the bush and say "God's son died".

that i believe is in the book of Hebrews, and if you rightly divide the word of truth, you will know that the book of Hebrews is for a Jew in the time of Jacob's trouble. it is not for king bible believing Christians today.
even though it is not for us doctrinally, does not mean we should ignore it (or the old testament, or Revelation, or James or the 4 gospel accounts) because there is instruction in righteousness to be had

"26 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,"
I don't think that verse, nor the Health Watchman is claiming that willful sins are greater than the blood of Jesus...
I believe that passage is making the point that God's grace is a gift which CAN be REJECTED. Just because you've been washed in the blood and God added you to His fold, doesn't mean He can't/won't let you walk out of the Kingdom. The idea of "once saved, always saved" is a false teaching. We have a role in our salvation, though we do not earn it. We must accept the gift of Grace by submitting to God.
I believe Heb. 10:26 is echoing Romans 6:1-2, "What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?"
If we disrespect God and abuse His grace (the sacrifice), then we are jeopardizing our own salvation.
Brokenhill we have not been given the spirit of bondage again to fear though(Romans8:15). would it be so though that if one knew that they could lose their salvation that it would put fear in them? that's how cults like catholicism, mormonism, and Jehovah's (false) witness work in controlling their people, they put the fear of being damned if they don't continue working on whatever it is to stay saved.

ALL of scripture is for us to learn and apply to our lives (2 Tim. 3:16). From Genesis to Revelation. When Paul wrote that verse, the NT (and all of his epistles) weren't even compiled yet, so the early church didn't have the "Pauline epistles" (at least not all of them). What they had was the OT, and Jesus' teachings as verbally taught by the apostles.
You are correct that the yoke of the Law of Moses has been lifted via Christ (temple service, sacrifices, laws on food, etc.). However, just because those acts of worship and rituals were done away with, doesn't mean that there isn't anything applicable to the modern Christian.
The OT actually teaches of the majority of PRINCIPLES that we see in the NT. And the entire NT, particularly starting with the Gospels are absolutely necessary to fulfilling our walks as Christians.
In Galatians 5:4, Paul says that some of the Christians have become severed from Christ/fallen from grace because they were seeking to be justified by the Law. They lost their status of salvation, not because of any weakness in Christ--but by their actions due to their lack of faith. Galatians 3 teaches that we are justified by faith in Christ.
However, FAITH INCLUDES WORKS. James 1:17 teaches that faith without works is dead.
Does Galatians 3 contradict James 1? Not at all...there's a difference between trusting in our own works to save us, and then appreciating God's grace to the point where it MOVES US to do work.
In John 14:15, Jesus says "if you love me, you will KEEP my commandments".
Repentance, obedience, worship, thanksgiving, etc. are necessary to "walk in the light" and be in the right relationship with God. We can lose our salvation, hence why Jesus teaches (in Mat. 7:21-23) that at judgment even some of His disciples who performed miracles in His name would be rejected because they practiced LAWLESSNESS.
I hope I'm not confusing with my explanation.
It's not that self-righteousness or works of the law or willful sin is somehow "greater than the blood of Jesus"...it has nothing to do with the power of the sacrifice, it has to do with ACCEPTING the gift.
God doesn't force us to stay a child of His just because at one point we obeyed Him and came to christ. God lets us walk away from Him , or else we wouldn't completely have free will.

2Timothy talks about doctrine (the Pauline epistles for us today), and instruction in righteousness, as in learning from the things in the past (For whatever whatsoever was written aforetime were written for our learning (Romans 15:5))
NOT all the things to apply, but can be seen side by side with the new testament for reference as to how they go so well together (like the thing of animals without blemish or spot to be sacrificed for the sins of them then, and how that foreshadows the perfect sacrifice God made of his Son for us all)
we do good works as born again believers because we're saved.
and even though Galations 3 and James 1 don't contradict,
but THIS does contradict
James 1 and Romans 4:6 (which says)
"But to him that worketh not, but believe on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
we cannot lose our salvation, once we're saved, we're part of the body of Christ.
if what you say is true and you can lose your salvation, how many times has Jesus Christ mutilated his body parts and put it back on? (since we're part of the body of Christ and we mess up.... vary often,)
you see how stupid that sounds? Jesus Christ doesn't cut of his own body parts every time a part of the body of Christ, sins and doesn't confess, confessing, and repenting are not the same things
repentance is part of true biblical salvation, but it's after believing the gospel, and coming to God and sinner who knows he can't save himself no matter what he does
The book of Hebrews applies to Christians today. There's no scripture to suggest that it doesn't.

'4 For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, [d]since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame."
WHICH CORRELATES TO:
Matthew 7,
"22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [n]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’"
WHICH CORRELATES TO:
Ezekiel 18,
24 “But when a righteous man turns
away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die. 25 Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not right.’ Hear now, O house of Israel! Is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right? 26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and dies because of it, for his iniquity which he has committed he will die. 27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from his wickedness which he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life.
Scripture from beginning to end teaches that we must be FAITHFUL to God UNTIL DEATH (Rev. 2:10). "Once saved always saved" is a false teaching.
We cannot be faithful for 1 day, and then turn back to wickedness for 55 years...and then die, and then expect God to embrace us. THAT does not make sense. The bible doesn't teach that.

Torah(first five books of the Bible) is the instructions and guidelines of our Father. The best way I can explain it is, well, I'm a father of three children. We need to get something straight...this is very important. "In the name of" does not mean "perfectly pronounce this name phonetically for authority."
"In the name of" is much deeper...it involves the person, what they stand for, what their character is etc.
The name of Jesus only has power because the person of Jesus has power because He is God, and proved it.
So we have to have faith in the right person of Jesus for it to be valid.
There were other people named Jesus during that time. Acts 13:6, the name barjesus implied his father was a different Jesus. There's no power on their names.
Also, we have to understand that Jesus did not speak English...He spoke Aramaic and Hebrew and the new testament was written in Greek, so what we have is multiple similar sounding names (but different) all referring to the same person. Hebrew/Aramaic was something lie Yeshua or Yehoshua, Greek was Iesous ("Yehsoos" our assisting like that)...which through imperfect phonetic transliteration we get Jesus.
Basically, over time letters change, both graphically and phonetically.
