Do it! They’re so easy. Glad I could inspire you. Those wheels are clutch. I could have turned them on the lathe but they wouldn’t have been nearly as good and would have taken ages. Also hot tip - you can get nontoxic spray paint which is much faster than my 2-stage hand paint process.
They’re great. My son still plays with his now that he’s 2. One is sitting on my living room floor right now. Just whatever you do don’t try to template route them! 😅
I am subscribing to help you with the channel. I will say however if you turn the channel into a “infomercial “ and stop making projects I will unsubscribe. One more thing with the truck you could do the bed in 3/4” material and add the cab, probably would have taken less time, but then again any time in the shop is good time. Keep coming with the projects.
Hey thanks so much for subscribing and helping out. I appreciate that clarification. My plan is definitely to keep making projects and also figure out how to make money while doing TH-cam. If I’m completely honest, I can’t justify putting 100 hours (as I’ve done on other videos) into a video without any hope of making a buck. But your point is well taken, and I can promise you I have no desire to start making videos mainly just trying to sell tools, and leave build videos behind, if that’s what you mean by infomercial. And I like that suggestion. In hindsight you’re absolutely right. The glue seam probably would be invisible too, not that it matters - it’s for a toddler after all 😁.
