Media@McGill invited Edward Snowden to give a free, public talk (via videoconference). Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden, best known for leaking documents in 2013 about NSA surveillance activities, talks about surveillance in Canada.
The talk was held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, 7 p.m. in Leacock 132, McGill University

Edward, your generation deserves such a speech and ideas and in a world of 7 billion people, you have stood out and its a great pleasure to have met you even momentarily...but do understand that...previous generations deserved the whip let alone any freedom...they were selfish heartless fucktards that should have been chained and thrown in the mines to work.
Keep doing what you are doing and always stay humble.
You have done a great act even if it did compromise security, and i ll tell you why...cause most things are cooked so you didnt really hurt that many people....CIA told me real threat is in South Asia and small pockets in central america...the rest is bullocks.
