Two years later, and Arcade1up doesn't have the replacement parts available on their site, anymore. Which sucks, because I got the White Screen of Death on my Centipede 4-in-1 Partycade. So I think I'll end up modding it, instead!
CORRECTION: So it looks like the spinner and the track ball that are available on the Arcade1Up website are upgraded versions of the originals. I have not tested these myself to confirm this, I'm just going based off of the information that is stated on the website that I didn't catch while editing the video. Thanks everyone for the heads up!
Might need one of these parts. One of the buttons on my rampage machine stopped working. The one that selects the games. I tried switching them and wouldnt work. Now all of a sudden the whole cabinet wont turn on. Tried plugging in my street fighter adapter and nothing. Not sure what it is. Wondering if its the board in the control deck or ribbon connector. Had to remove it a few times while putting pinstripe tape on the cabinet. Was only after then i experienced these problems. 1up still hasnt got back to me. Any suggestions or ideas on what i might need? Thanks in advance!
My guess is either the ribbon cable or the board. But it could be something else hard to say which part you need without being able to successfully diagnose it. You might have to wait for Arcade1Up to reply back to you for this one. You could try calling customer service and see if you get through.
Only bad part of their shop is the price of shipping - for the SFII cab the $249 goes up to $290 when you add in the $40 shipping and everything else on the store is $12 shipping per item (even the $1.00 pacman button set is $12 shipping !! )
I had heard at one point that they were updating the trackball with an improved version for Golden Tee and I believe making a better spinner for future cabinets. Would be great if this is it. The heading on that section said something about upgrading your game or something like that. They seem to have upgraded the joysticks for the MK and Final Fight cabs. Who knows? Their description is lacking.
@@TheToyRoom I would hope they'd be smart enough not to put out the same garbage spinner and make the claims they're making about this one. But we'll all soon more once people get them.
@@TheToyRoom - Think it is actually upgrade - If you look at the pics you can see the bearings and it looks nothing like the cheap rotary dial that came in the original units !
Great Info Toy Room! I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the price for the spinner. Trackball or no, selling that that "spinner" for any amount of money is an absolute insult to everyone who owns a cabinet it comes on (me included). I'm going to be getting a third party spinner, one from a very cool content creator, Glen from Glen's Retro Show, and take back my great memories Arcade1up tried to destroy. And don't get me wrong, I don't hate Arcade1up. In fact, I'm still very excited to see what they come up with next. And I do love the fact that Arcade1up is offering replacement parts. Good on them. And from your review of the Final Fight cabinet, it sounds like they've actually getting their act together and making quality products. Thanks again for posting this! vgv
@@negative1723 - based on the pictures they posted it would have been but they actually shipped people the original spinner that is not free spinning or weighted like the description and pics they had posted were !

I ordered a replacement Pac man joystick 2 months ago and it hasn’t come in yet
Don’t know how to get a replacement screen, won’t light up in my TMNT machine, and I don’t know how to get my warranty replacement screen

I wonder if the spinner is an upgraded one. It says "-Free spinning weighted flywheel" which does not seem accurate at all of the original ones.
Hmmm good point. My guess is that it's still the same spinner and they just didn't word it correctly

I can't find any parts are these cabinets actually good? Thx
Not all pieces are there yet,
some of the LCD panels aren't listed there yet.
Also shipping is $12 for everything it seems.

Anyone who buys one of these for the LCD is a sucker. You can buy replacement LCD screens which are guaranteed to be better cheap.
@@scottboehmer1975 You also get the PCB with it, it seems and the bezel.

@@negative1723 true. All I'm saying is if there's a defect with the screen not covered under warranty, it's pretty easily and cheaply fixed.
Cool thanks for doing this video dude appreciate it that's good to know
That's freaking awesome
