Enjoyed the Update…Glad your feeling better Elvis
Yay Elvis! Glad you're better!
Good to see Elvis is back and well , you could fill the pontoons with marine grade expanding foam , I noticesed Elvis wears glasses does he use a prescrition dive mask ?
*I noticed
Keep up the good work guys😊❤
GREEN 👍 My favorite color.
Long pontoons !!! You'll need an alignment machine 😂
👍🤿😎🇵🇭Slowly but surely!👍
Use fire eng orange on boat so you can see better , a big stripped.
Thought about it, like my truck. But it'll fade
Thanks for the update. Lee will never recognise the morphed boat. Presume you're going to fill the outrigger chambers with poly expanding marine foam?
No I haven't found that here. Not much need
That is awesome I've been waiting for this, that is a beautiful ball, even if Justin you are thinking of bigger boat you could do that but I would keep both of them because this smaller boat you could have towards all the time, just another way how to make some money maybe even a little fishing :-) is trying to figure out how to make everything work that's all buddy the bow is looking nice
1st like of the show... Hi all
You are rebuilding almost everything. Would you not have been better off just building a new boat from scratch?
Debatable. I hadn't planned on doing so much though. Plus got this one real cheap.
I have seen them install Styrofoam on the inside of the pontoons as well in case you accidentally hit some rocks it will still float instead of getting full of water. Also are they compartmentallizing the pontoons with plywood shut offs like a battleship so it doesnt compromise the whole pontoon It's cheap insurance. Looking good
🤙🤙🤙
Color should hide the algae. Thought you'd go with pink. 😆
It’s gonna be sweet guys it’s gonna be sweet 😁
Get back for a test drive
I might just do that. Next year sometime.
hi guys awesome video as always .
my question is what is stopping you now from bringing the boat to your dive shop to finish the repairs ?
It's a place of business and a busy resort, ot a boat yard
Nice huge boat build, what's the engine foe that boat.
We got an episode for that!
Government needs there money , this is ordinary in philippines, permits
Too much buoyancy in those outriggers, it’s gonna be too much buoyancy. I’m saying it,.. that’s what I’m saying.
You definitely said it
Don’t you question this “ up “ sizing of these outriggers?,… compared to original equipment these appear to me ( I’m guessing now ) easily to be 10x more displacement ,.. so the weight of the water that these outriggers displace is the force that’s going to be applied to the boat through the connecting structure,..
do you have a navel engineer, Involved in this rebuild, I think you should question this upsizing. It’s such a dramatic change to the original design ,…I’m just asking because everything seems so impromptu and so built by the “ seat of your pants “ so to speak
@@fredsobotincic1587 kinda but that would only be true if the whole thing was underwater. Most of it is above and just for stability. But ya that's why we got some very good wood for the riggers.
In any kind of sea conditions these outriggers will be subject to surges at times they will be / may be ..underwater depending on the seas..
When the conditions are such .. their are cycles of stress, that’s the thing with marine design constant stress movement dependent on the sea conditions Cycles of stress ,,.modules of elasticity ?
Dynamic loads
Forces that vary with time such as those resulting from wave, wind and currents understanding dynamic loads is crucial for assessing the fatigue and overall structural integrity of marine systems ,..
Waste of time , get some PVC pipes as outriggers , 0 maintenance.
If I wanted my boat to look like the car on Beverly Hilbillies I might
Good to see Elvis up and about.
Hay Elvis I got dengue about 18 months back for the frist time, it’s sucks! Doc told me if you get it again it will be worse!
Never finished build your job life is short boring always your video.
