- Thanks for watching our time-lapse video of a Goldmine that you can use for your D&D Table top RPG roleplay game. This map was created using the popular Dungeon Alchemist software!
This could be used for all kinds of roleplay table top RPG encounters.
This video is perfect for Dungeon Masters who want to create their own custom battle maps, or for players who want to learn more about how Dungeon Alchemist works.
I hope the encounter examples help to give inspiration for your own Campaign or game.
If you would like to support us and also get access to all the maps we have made, along with updates of Loot our Labrador, or you are just amazing, you can do so over on Patreon

Classic map, so many uses for Bandits or any type of fortified camp.
Bandit camp, the start of the players full time residence, so many options! :)
Another AMAZING build! Thank you both for your fantastic videos.
Thank you so much!
:D
Such a relaxing video to watch. Inspired me to open up DA and create something as well. Thanks.
Great to hear it inspired you. There are loads of videos that will hopefully continue to do so on our channel!
Nice and simple with great utility for multiple scenarios. Another well done map and video with useful suggestions. #Snax4Loot
Glad you liked it! Loot is always happy to get more snacks!! :D
Great build!
But if those bandits were clever, they'd chop down the trees below! - Less cover and hiding for any enemies!
Lucky for our adventurers!
I'd love a video on how you made this. Especially things like it appears as though you weren't placing those trees individually. I'm currently having to grab one tree at a time and it is taking forever.
Hi there - Aconite has explained that he clicks the object button (chest icon) and then selects the second tab (looks like a paint brush over some rocks) this is the object painter - select the option you want to mass place on your map. Click away :-) you can also erase objects on mass this way too!
Would you still like us to make a tutorial video on our tips and tricks? We could look to do that if people would like us too!
flabbergasting!
:D
nice
Thank you Realwaldbaer! :)
That is a great map scenario. At the beginning of the map making it looked perfect for a small cave. Do you know if it is possible to carve horizontally instead of vertically?
There is a Cave map setting now :-)
@@CMDRAconite That is awesome! Did you make any cave videos introducing the map maker?
@codyjones746 - I don’t think I have used it yet. I have made a number of cave maps. That should help inspire ideas. I think the Workshop on Steam will have many examples though from others.
I will look there. Thank you.
just subscribed, did you publish on steam workshop?
Thank you so much for subscribing, really glad you like our content.
We haven’t put them on Steam, but do have the maps available on our Patreon.
Do you have a link to a Kobold burrow/warren with traps?
Hi Zr0din,
We have an underground cave leading to a keep that could be used as a burrow.

You could add in traps where you want them, and also use the mushrooms as a hallucinogenic area.
How could you use this type of map for actual play but remain in 3d?
Hi @lugzgaming5074
You could use dungeon alchemist as a light VTT and get your players to import their characters to your dungeon alchemist.
(Hero forge) and then you could move them around.
You should go check out what dungeon alchemist has to offer as you may be able to find a solution, in our games, we export a 2D image with perspective, so it appears more 3D than a 2D image.
@@CMDRAconite I'll give that a try for using it as a VTT. It's for in person games, so I don't need to have anyone connect remotely.
Can you explain a bit about your 2d export method you mentioned? That sounds interesting.
@@lugzgaming5074
One of the standard export options within DA is a plain image with perspective. :)
