Exactly what I needed. I want to stop thinking about her, and I really hope she doesn't think about me haha. That chorus caught me off guard because that spoke to the inner-depths of what I secretly desired from that person too.
To be honest, I had no idea who Egor Letov or Grazhdanskaya Oborona were, and I guess that must be the norm outside ex-Soviet states. (I liked the song and I am reading some interesting things about the Soviet punk scene, thank you for that.) But I can see the resemblance, at least in the first part, although I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s a copy - it seems to me they’re different enough to have been created independently. But this is the only Molly Nilsson’s song I know that’s not part of an album, and I never read a line about it, so maybe there was an intentional connection with Grazhdanskaya Oborona’s song, I don’t know. I’d love it nevertheless, as I love many covers (which it definitely is not).
yeah that song is similar to egor letov's. but you can't blame molly about that situation. because molly nilsson is a true artist. she never copy or steal a thing. there is a lot of songs are familiar to another one. i think that one is just a coincidence.
