I always knew this was a Man on Fire reunion... but I literally just thought about how these movies could connect. It's a stretch, but we don't know if Creasy really died... maybe he got away and changed his identity and became The Equalizer. I know they're actually separate IPs from way back in the day, but it would be cool if The Equalizer was the Man on Fire in this universe.
It’s deeper than that. He was originally in the Army (Courage Under Fire) but left that and joined the FBI (Deja Vu) then went private security (Man on Fire) then faked his death, moved to Boston, and eventually became The Equalizer.
I want an Equalizer/John Wick/Nobody crossover! Like three separate story lines bring them up against the same targets and grab your popcorn and drink because people are gonna die....ALLOT!!
When I saw Denzel with the Italian family at the start of the trailer, I thought this might have Man on Fire vibes and then up pops Dakota. Hyped for this.
as soon as I saw these families in Italy just openly embracing him, and him saying he finally felt free and at peace...I immediately went "whomever fucks up this man's peace is gonna quickly regret having ever done anything to anyone in that little dreamy Italian town." Robert McCall reminds me of John Wick in a sense that if they work hard to obtain some semblance of peace, it is extremely unwise for anyone to make moves to remove them from that peace.
Can't wait to see this either the first and second were awesome. Sorry to burst the bubble about the gun in the eye socket and shooting from there, that was already done. It was done in wanted with James McAvoy in the end.

Alright, does anyone of you prefer an old school action thriller that from the very beginning it planted you to your seat throughout the whole ride? A very good excuse to once again watching Mr. Washington exercise his craft with an unfiltered, raw and simple dance steps on the floor and if it's really the end, it went out with an insane bang, giving what we love when we go in to see this kind of movie we can relate with and wish to be able to do in this crazy world of witnessing madness an Injustice. And yeah, you'll be surprise who dance on the floor alongside him... Remember that cute little girl in his last movie Man On Fire? Aha...yes, she's all grown up. I never seen the cast interview and I never really dive into checking who's who the casts was.... So, yeah... I rate this movie 10/10 ...MUST WATCH 😉
