Oh my god.... I couldn't stop watching this movie. I've watched it over and over. I've even learned the damn song she was singing about the rivers becomes one in the ocean. It's so beautiful.... Gave me goosebumps. Their love for each other looked so real. I didn't want it to end.

Kilian’s personality was so ahead of its time, given the racially charged atmosphere, the brink of civil war, and the pressure to fit in with Jacobo and Gregorio - his vulnerability during his father’s death, the respect he had for Ose, Simon and of course Bisila....to learn the language, the culture .... to never lose sight of the stand up guy he was .....the kind of film that resonates with you long after you’ve watched the film.... and so visually beautiful to watch.... one of the best films I’ve seen! Having said that, the book is even better!

é uma história muito envolvente em que muita gente se sente identificada! a história da relação que Espanha e Portugal tiveram com as suas colónias em África são muito semelhantes! eu tive os meus avós em Moçambique e muitas cenas retratadas no filme aproximam se muito da realidade deles! ;)
