MACHU PICCHU 2024 - ULTIMATE TRAVEL GUIDE WITH 7 DAY ITINERARY (WITH KIDS)

Day1….Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel in Cusco, orientation walk and city tour & Saqsaywaman. Cusco 11,000 feet above sea level.

Day 2….Full day trip to Chinchero for weaving demonstration where we will appreciate the Inka weaving technique and the way how they dye with natural colors and all of them hand made, then we drive to a place where we will have the ATVs activity, visit circular terraces of Moray and finally the Salt ponds of Maras ( traditional way to harvest salt) then drive back to Cusco.

Day 3…..Sacred Valley tour where we going to visit the ancient Inka city of Pisaq, walking exploration around this place for 1.30 hrs approximately, then we drive down to Pisaq local and colorful Indian market, then we drive trough the sacred valley to approach Ollantaytambo (another ancient Inka city where we going to have a tour)

Day 4…. Short Inka trail to Machupicchu, 06 hours of walk maximum, first we catch a train to get the starting point of the trail and then we pass through the national park checking point (passports) and then hike to Machupicchu, then bus down to Aguascalientes or Machu Picchu town…..spend night in Aguascalientes town.

Day 5….We catch bus up to Machu Picchu to start our Machu Picchu guiding tour, then bus down to Aguas Calientes, and we have lunch here before we catch train back to Ollantaytambo then our private van is going to transfer us back to Cusco.

Day 6…..Morning free and then cooking class

Day 7….Early in the morning (4.30AM) pick up for Rainbow Mountain trip, full day trip and then transfer back to airport…..
This is the best itinerary to have time enough to experience the Cusco trip and at the same time to have time to recover physically and do the other activities.
