This is neat. Tomorrow will mark 43 years I began to sing as a little girl. It started in church, & this was the actual song I sang. I'm a 3rd generation gospel singer. I lead an adult Bible study group, & I'm planning to do this song. I already know some of the sign language, but thanks to your video I can learn the rest. May God bless you.

Thank you! My toddler has been so great at sign language, I want to teach him to fluency. I only know a couple of signs that babies know, but I’m trying to become fluent at the same time. This is his favorite song right now, and I can’t wait to do this with him when he wakes up from his nap. I know this was posted two years ago, but thank you for taking the time to do this!
I've got to learn this for a little church performance I am doing with the little kids, it has been so helpful! I was able to learn it in probably 30 minutes and I've been practicing for at least an hour everyday to get the hang of it! Thank you so much for showing us this!

Just learning sign. SSD 2007, bilateral 2018. Still didn’t bother to learn since my BAHA’S helped so much durning my waken hours. Now afraid of device failures and not being able to spend $12,000 for new ones. Time to learn how to communicate in my real world. Thank you for teaching this!!

I have been set on a path to teach middle schoolers sign language in a homeschool group... I figure learning by song is one of the best ways to maximize what they can learn... So I'm going to stalk your channel for a bit. Thank you for what you do!!
I am not fluent in ASL at all, but I love teaching these motions to the nursery kids at my church. In trying to get better at it, I've seen some different variations of signs, some videos even having extra signs that others do not, specifically at the line of "The Bible tells me so". Can someone explain why this is? I like this version because it'll be much easier to work with 2 and 3 year olds on, but km curious as to the reason for the differences.
There are different reasons for the variations. It could be they are signing it in more English word order or that they prefer a different sign for a specific word in the song. With sign language, unless it's intentional, 2 people can sign the same thing differently because it depends on their vocabulary, experiences, and how they process what they heard. I appreciate this because I can learn from other people different ways to sign things.
There are not many religious signing Bibles. An organization called Deaf Bible Society has the Bible all in sign language. You can also Google Deaf Bible and another website will come up that has the Bible in sign language. I hope this helps. 🙂
