To be fair this is not a game where you just push some buttons and hope to get a 10 piece. He should either play properly and think about what's going to happen when you do something, or not play this game, or not be bothered by chat having a go at him for doing misplays on every turn.

nah, he absolutely could have, all he had to do was not play out a garbage hand and instead redraw for the junkhead, blocking snoof and dregg's debilitating attacks and then taking half of their hp down
It was absolutely winnable. He built a decent deck. He just had to get better at stalling because his deck was a ramp deck. The problem is that NL is quite bad at stalling, because he unwillling to calculate, by his own admission. He feels, whether you agree or not, that the concentration necessary to play a game with this much calculation takes away from his banter, which he feels is the most important part of his stream
@@ihave2cows The first hand he got was almost as good as his deck was going to get. The second draw was horrible. If he redrew his first hand, he would have got the second hand. So if he played out the first hand like he did but snowing dregg, then redrew the second, he would have 3 turns to stop Brighter and Dregg and Snoof before they all got attacks off. I think to beat it he needs to kill Tusk and Dregg asap, and this deck was just too slow to get that done
nl has the same problem i had, first ever win was with smackback and its so hard to beat that boss. took me maybe 30 runs to finally beat it. once you beat the smackback boss, bosses without it are actually pretty easy and you can start to go on streaks.
Bring snoof and the snow clan, make sure your damage dealer hit the smackback boss when hes snowed. Also the game is in general harder if you don't take the time to setup huge combo on the easier fights.
And it also attacks, I had a boss that was pretty easy because it only had smackback and never attacked by itself so I was able to focus on other units first without worrying for the demential passives that I put on them
This was a good run. Touchy, at times, but a good run. NL made some sick plays at times, and in true NL fashion, threw the run at the end by not snowing the 7x3.
Damn. At least we can all agree that this was his very best attempt yet without much help from chat. This was such a good awesome run, doesn't even matter that egg lost.
Love watching NL play wildfrost and really hope you continue. If you are reading this though, just want to say, that overburn will only affect enemies in the same row. So, if you know a unit is going to die from an overburn attack, just put them alone in the row and everyone else will be fine. Just saying because you could have lived a while longer if you had done that in this run or the last, although I think the battle was already lost this time. Hope I'm not backseating, just a bit of advice

As someone who's only a year younger than NL, I think Tarzan soundtrack was a bop tbh. I listened to both Lion King and Tarzan soundtracks and loved em both. Is Lion King better? Sure. Hell, I knew the entire movie back to front. But I wouldn't say Tarzan was overrated. The songs were very powerful. Two Worlds and Son of Man still hype me up to this day, just lots of good energy. You'll Be in My Heart, definitely overplayed so I can see the resentment. Just my personal take to toss in the mix. On the topic of the actual vid, loving the Wildfrost content and hoping to see more in the future!
My parents also still had our Hercules plates from McDonald's. We got two of em, best plates to be honest, lightweight and easy to clean :) Also love the Wildfrost content, you got me to beat it in a few days and pray for more content.
@@LaserStorm117 Yuup, it's a doozy. Thankfully, I think if you go for true ending, the game still counts it as a win so long as you beat the Frost Guardian before the Jailer fight. It's an absolutely brutal fight, to the extent that you are almost required to have a build that scales up incredibly fast and kills/stalls everything in a handful of turns before they even start to attack. The good part is that the Lumin jar card, which is present on the max ascension level where you can do the true ending, doubles all effects on a given card, so it opens up a lot of crazy infinite strategies that would otherwise be unviable on a lower ascension.

The first adds charms to some enemies but makes those enemies drop more money, the second makes waves spawn faster in bosses but you start with a crown, and the third adds more options to some events, but 2 marked locations on the map contain pieces to the lumin vase, so you have to redirect to get to those, and if you take the vase, it is a useless card before you get the second piece to complete it.
I might be crazy but does the boss version of your own card get weaker the more you fight them or something? I"m sure a couple times I made it to them and they had less health than they did when I checked them with RB
Every Numskull fight he tries to rush down the boss despite how hard that is to do (sans high frenzy) and leaves the minions alive to demolish his unit health. Somebody please help this man escape the hard mode of his own design.
This game is so hard, you have to make sure to account for every little aspect and one mistake can cost you everything. I forgot about aimless one time and got my hero one shot on the last turn against the final boss, so lame! It's a great game though. I almost feel like it should have slice and dice feature where you can rewind stuff sometimes
pro tip Blinky is actually goated due to only 2 turn timer, if you buff him with charms and attack and frenzy buffs he can be the best unit in the game. If you're lucky you can even give him the turn timer decrease charm and basically break the game with an attack every turn unit. He's kind of a bitch to deal with acended tho cause he gains like 4 blockers and attacks so fast you'll have to prio the shit out of him or perma snow.

NL, I know there's 0% chance you read this, but you really have to take a moment to read ahead one turn so you aren't caught in these situations where there's nothing in your hand that can save you. Sometimes, you have to hit the redraw bell early, junkhead would have done SO MUCH for you in the final battle.
another pro tip Aimless overrides Barrage, but same goes other way. This means you can override Aimless enemy effects and cards and charms with the Gashapomper by just switching it around on the battlefield

My first boss has smackback frenzy x2 and I’ve played about 40 runs without beating it lol
