Top tier for me as well, yet another song in which everyone is stella. Way back (about 6 months ago) when I first saw this video it was Miku that drew my attention first time through. The way she was nonchalantly playing the initial groove and then matching Kanami and Misa during that first changeup riff that continued behind Saiki, that was when I knew that Band Maid really had an excellent rhythm guitarist nevermind everything else she contributes in vocals and lyrics. Kanami is a nutural genius, Miku worked and earned the same label for everything she does for this band.
We have Miku to thank for everything re. Band-Maid. Even though Kanami, Akane and Misa knew of each other they didn't think of starting their own band. It took a waitress in a Maid Cafe to pursue a dream.

Lead guitarist, Kanami (Mincho) loves Santana. She recently when to one of his concerts and he moved her to tears. That is how much passion she has for melody and music. She is an absolute virtuoso who would rather add to the song than show off with solos. Eddie Van Halen is my favorite guitar player and kanami is right next to him as far as how they move me. RIP Eddie, its OK, Kanami Mincho can take over from here...
The smart young musicians learn from those that came before them (Bach, Chopin, Lifeson, Santana and Van Halen) and take it further by developing the techniques and making it their own. Thus you have Band-Maid -- and others. Sweet!!!
It blows me away how good Miku's has gotten on rhythm guitar !!!!!!! It totally makes the song and allows Kanami to do all her amazing fills on lead !!!!! What a JAM !!!!!!!!!

One of my favorites. I love the "foreshadowing" transition riff that goes palm-muted for the verse, then it comes back with a vengeance with a sky-rocket solo, then the outro is just so lyrical.

This is absolutely the area in which I too feel they are at their very best, I love all their music but I am so grateful that there is a ton of mid and low tempo songs in their catalogue which always seem to float to the top of my playlist.
Great reaction yet again. Three verses and choruses- a different arrangement for each increasing in intensity (Dynamic Arrangement) with a fantastic final solo by Kanami. I always get the shivers when the first note slides into that solo.This lady and this song is just F'n genius, as are the rest of the band of course- did I see Miku dueting on guitar with Kanami in on one of the arrangements? You can't mistake that Zamaitis. This song must be in my top 5- not possible to have a top 3. Oh yes, that clean sound of a PRS at the beginning cannot be beaten.

I have always emphasized that they are not a hard rock band, they are a melodic hard rock band - and that's exactly what I like
