Kanami said she wrote the song to be an "anthem" song that the audience could join with their voices. She nailed it. Every GREAT song makes an emotional connection between the artists and the audience. This song does that.

Band-Maid loves what they do, performing for an audience, playing their music (which is not just cut and paste - but developed, that is why the second verse, musically, is not exactly the same as the first). They enjoy be on stage together having fun and sharing that enjoyment with the live audience. I can think of a few bands that have done that but not at the level as Band-Maid. They are unique, humble, and appreciative of their audience- as a rock band. Wow
These wonderful musical unicorns have given their all in the rock and roll trenches over the last decade and seeing them at such a large venue receiving the love and adoration from their fan base is truly moving, but the Maids being the Maids send that right back to us with humble gratitude, what a fcken band Po 👍🍻

The original music video is on a volcanic island with lots of black rock everywhere. It's really well done. Miku writes these love songs that convert into songs for their fans and are amazingly philosophical at that same time: _"Whatever tomorrow brings, whatever the future holds: No giving up. This struggle is the mark of life."_ What a great way to send everyone out into the night! _"The life is beautiful!"_

I discovered these five amazing women in a reaction video right before the pandemic kicked in back in 2020. Before i knew it, I was hooked. Down the pigeon-hole I went. Their musicianship, song writing, and adorable personalities made dealing with the lock down a whole lot easier. Their devotion to each other, their craft, and their fans was also refreshing. This concert was 3.5 hours of pure joy. A fitting finale for their greatest year ever. 😁

Tim, I hope you ordered the special Edition Blu-Ray DVD. It should not only have the DVD but a photo book and a documentary DVD of the rehearsals leading up to the concert. The DVD does not have any closed captioning in English like the official live video on TH-cam has, but that's a lot of translation.
Your passion for Band Maid is uplifting. Has anyone mentioned Band Maid Prime? A large collection of assorted videos. Many prior concerts, member isolated vids playing a song, and assorted goodies. Join on a monthly basis for 1100 Yen, about $8 US.
As long as your computer gas USB ports, you can plug in external USB disc drives. They're actually quite cheap these days. Plug it into the USB port and your computer should automatically detect it and access it. Easy peasy.
