Moreover, you cannot appreciate Mark's finger-plucking genius, his unique tone and phrasing, and his almost singular ability to make a guitar weep until you see him perform "Brothers in Arms", live from 'On The Night'. I would also suggest you explore the other performances from Alchemy live, including but not limited to "Romeo and Juliet", "Private Investigations", "Once Upon a Time in the West" and "Tunnel of Love". I happen to be a classically trained musician myself, and I can say without hesitation that you need to dive a little deeper into their rich catalogue -- and Marks subsequent solo albums and musical scores -- before you can reasonably pass judgement on the quality of the work.
