2022 was when Naraoka was a rather aggressive player unlike the more rallying/defensive player he is now. I feel like his problem is the lack of a shot combo/anticipation and also his shot qualities. Not all his lifts go to the backline and yes he is one of the fittest player on the World Tour right now but if he cannot anticipate the next shots well then he is going to end up very tired too as he is going to have to take some shuttles later which makes it harder to finish rallies. I also agree that he has no weapon to finish the rallies, his smashes are mostly to the middle and straight, with a lack of angle smashes which is the weakness of most players' defense. Now this may be caused by his rallying style which causes him to be tired often and hard to focus on doing an angle smash. Naraoka is one of the more technically gifted players on the World Tour. Despite this, the variety of shots he does is quite small and his shots are easy to anticipate as well. Clears are good but you are going to be tired as well as your opponent so your opponent is going to force out more rally finishing shots that is going to make you even more tired.
@@EggMemer Thank you for the long writing. I study so much about Kodai if you check my channel you will see. I was inspired by Attacking Kodai from Vietnam open. He is good at racket control especially at front court. Yes. As you mentioned his smash is not steep enough that's why he needs to attack at front. His slice drop is more deadly from the midcourt than his smash.
You sir, are the only coward here who hide behind the internet and bash on others. You have little idea on how much an athlete like SYQ has to suffer just to keep playing at the top level.
NAraoka has a beautifull backhand!
good sound, good angle👍
Did you notice most rally ended Shi Yiqi's cross smashes. Kodai's problem is he has no weapon to finish the rally.

@@shomurakamisan Oh wait you are him lol I have watched one of your videos before
7:20 😂the line judge covered his face😂😂😂
Yes he is ashamed of himself
@@leedahye25はやすぎて見えないのも仕方ないでしょ
I think he was just telling the umpire he didn't see the shuttle landed clearly
when a line judge is covering their face, it indicates that they didnt see the shuttle clearly, which the empire then decides on what to do
That’s one of the three judgements the line judge would make. In, out or the view blocked.
How about doubles match?
The match was so fast, I thought the video was sped up.
watching at this angle feels faster than the official one for some reason
Jackson Deborah Davis Mark Lewis Gary
Perez Betty Wilson Michael Williams Thomas
Miller George Williams Patricia Lewis Timothy

Jep, me too bro
i hate it when shi yu qi wins.
Shut up I hate it when losers like you comment 💀💀💀
Why?
それは誹謗中傷です。
なぜですか?彼も尊敬できる
素晴らしい選手ですよ。
Then you got a lot of works to do cause he's now world No.2 and win a lot.
Between SYQ and Kodai, I choose SYQ. Kodai makes badminton look grinding and ugly.
You think he makes badminton look grinding and ugly……😂😂😂
He likes to do good rallies and make his opponent do mistakes
U must be a kid or an over confident ass
Different player Different footwork
Don’t know why Kodak could make badminton ugly. Just a different play style. Besides, I think both of them are very talented players.
What a sad way to lose such a close match to a coward like Shi Yu Qi.
why is he a coward?
It’s 2023 now still losers only remember 2021
His mentality has changed a lot after getting banned for bad behaviour. Now I can see he's more mature and modest

He is much more braver than YOU for sure. You know nothing about Shi Yu Qi. If not than shut up.
