Stayed until the end! Please make a part 2. I’m not a big reader but I’ve literally made a list of books that you recommended so I’m going to pick those up soon! 💞
🎃 Hi Kayla! Really enjoyed this video. I'm currently reading the Reformatory an excellent but emotionally charged book..going to need to read something "light" afterwards to decompress..
I read Yellow Wife this month and whew!!! I need to get more into the authors back log. I agree, it was beautifully written. I did the audiobook and the sound effects 😢 I have What a Match on my Fall TBR. Can’t wait to read it.
Great recs as always! I am definitely adding All the Sinners Bleed to my fall tbr. I loved Razorblade tears so I definitely want to check out more from SA Cosby 🎃
🎃 You always have good recs… I’m going to pick up Yellow wife… sounds like its right up my alley… Thank you! And I’m here for your part II… Happy Reading 📚🫡
🎃also, I just finished the serpent and the wings of night by Carissa broadbent and it was so good. Very plot driven with a blossoming romance; so good.
🎃Yay you’re back! I was beginning to miss you. 🤣 Great video and your hair is super cute! You always have the best hairstyles. I’m currently reading the Eugeena Patterson Mystery series by Tyora Moody. It’s a cute and cozy mystery series. I’m not one for the scary stuff. Check it out, you might like it. Until the next time, be blessed. ☺️
I don't know but I did not get "spooky" vibes from My Sister The Serial Killer no clue why but I thought it was funny. Shocking but funny, cuz I know her sister was like "this is the last time....." lol
I’ve read several of these ( Take My Hand, Yellow Wife, and The House of Eve) absolutely agree for the fall vibes and such good reads. Now I had to stop the reformatory because my mind, heart soul was like not today Satan. And I had mixed feelings about the actions that big Sis took. Like nooo you are gonna make things worse, but damn she can’t just sit back and do nothing. My black self was definitely in conflict. I do plan to finish it this fall because I need to know what happens. But I had to take a stress break from It🤦🏽♀️😂. Thanks for sharing.
Great recommendations 🎃 I think you would enjoy Ours: A Novel by Phillip B. Williams if you haven't read it. It's a historical fiction/ realism fiction. I'm making my through that and it's amazing!
@@KaylasBookishVibes I definitely understand that! I was the same way because I purchased the book in May of this year and just started it in September. But when I tell you it does not read like a lengthy book- it really reads quickly!! And it's very enjoyable!

oh you definitely will! I’m pretty sure I read a light romance after that book or a cheesy thriller.

Tfs I enjoy watching your videos
The Reformatory is so good! Highly recommend. It's not super gory or anything like that so if you're squeamish that's not really an issue imo.
It’s not gory but some of the subject matter can definitely be hard to read. I loved it though 🤗
Allegedly was so good as well as Mondays not coming
I’m waiting on The Raformatory from Libby now. Libby is taking her sweet ol’ time with it.
So happy I found your channel. This was great.

Sadeqa Johnson is an auto buy author for me. All of her books are so good.
Same! I have a few of her other books on my shelf I need to read but at this point she’s definitely an auto buy.
