We don't like immigration agents! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and will be moving to Canada early 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of bullshit; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. For a basic house in a very average locality you need to cough up 1 million canadian dollars ...even for renting You need a minimum 2000 dollars per month for a decent place ... Come with a full bank account or be very smart like potato talkies to survive here ... The housing market is bonkers ... I still don't regret as we came at the right time when things were affordable here ... It is super expensive now . Even if you pay the 20.percent down payment for your house you need to cough up a min of 3500 dollars per month as mortgage for thirty years . Yes I was lucky I guess . I would not have been able to afford anything if we decided to come now in the current scenario ..

I love it that they both interrupt each other but in a very unoffensive way.. lot of times simran interrupts Navjot and the latter does not make a big deal out of it and vice versa is also true.. this shows that as a couple u guys are very understanding and will have a very successful personal life in addition to your successful professional life !!

It was good missed the train during listening twice but made a wild guess the British council guys did a great job conducting the exam at such difficult times my result is on the 25th of this month

Hey! welcome to canada fellow immigrants😃first of all, Love your video. I landed in Canada on SUNDAY. so, I have done my SIN registration out side the airport.
I just want to mention here that those who are coming to canada on weekend, Don't worry much about SIN number. Service canada offices are open weekdays and process to get SIN number at the office is pretty simple just like the airports. (Kindly consider the current COVID 19 situations for office hours)

Thanks, Priya. I reckon that. We landed on a Saturday, the SC was closed but we got our SIN number on Monday itself. Getting the SIN number and health card from SO was a swift process :)

I wish I had someone to share such information with me before I came to the US in 1987. Unfortunately there was no Internet at the time. I do live an awesome life in the US and have no regrets about the very difficult times I experienced putting myself thru university for 5 years and then establishing my life over the past 33 years. I love watching your videos. they also help me brush up the bad Hindi I spoke back in Mumbai! I understand everything.

If we have to change terminal 4 to 2 at London Heathrow Airport, do we have to have a British transit visa ?
Ideally, you should not require... But Just call British Airways and ask.
@@Potatotalkies Called British airways, but they are telling I have to check with Oman air (which takes me from Trivandrum airport to London Heathrow). But Oman airways says, they don't know.
In your case, did u had any terminal changes? If yes, did u take any transit visa?
@@vishnubg9292 our flight was same terminal. And we did not take transit visa. I am pretty sure that if your flight is from same airport is London, and you have a canada visa,you do not require a transit visa.

Hey, did you guys get your SIN at the airport? Didn’t get mine and was told to go get it from Service Canada but we were also asked to stay in self isolation for 14 days, so i am a bit confused. Glad you guys made it!
We got it! If you landed post 15th, they would probably process you on the phone..

Even if you receive PR Card, Landing Paper aka COPR shd be reserved for entire life as main Gov document that is provided to Applicants...else you dont have more info on your actual file number like UCI Number which is the MOST IMPORTANT!!!

You are uninformed. We have done a shit job. We had no cases but because of open borders we now have a lot and they will continue to climb. The economy is crashing so jobs will be very few. People are moving their money out of the country so more companies will go under. The good days are over. Taxes are going way up because of the economy. So whatever you were expecting in prices they will likely double due massive tax increases being debated right now.The good days are over.

E. Lee in comparison to other first world countries the number of positive cases and deaths is much lower in Canada. I agree that the borders should be closed. I thought that was the direction the PM was heading but I guess not. Keep in mind other countries are going through the exact thing. The economy is crashing...but we need to keep positive.
